Online ADR? Or call direct???

I know I'm naughty and should be posting this in the uk trip section , (as I'm little miss brittish), but you guys are the total pros and may know more about my question.

So, my 180 day Mark is almost here! I have a group of 13 to book ressies for, I was under the impression that if you didn't call on the dot at the opening time 180 days out of the ADR you want, that you had little chance of getting it?
All I want is ak Donald breakfast, fantasmic package, (handv) CRT lunch and garden grill, possibly a dessert party but only for me and dh,
So do I call up or is it easier to book online? We are not DDP by the way .

I do it online, as I think online opens an hour early. but I could be wrong. also, with a large party like that you may want to think of making multiple smaller ressie's. like 4 and 4 and 5. with a larger party you may end up split up anyway, and if you set it up yourself you get to decide what works best for you. (like rather than the 4, 4, 5 could be 3, 4, 3, 3, or even try 6 and 7) this is why you MIGHT get better info by calling.. they might have an idea of how large of a party can be set together.

I would call especially since you have a group of 13 and you want CRT. That is one you have to call on the 180 (+ 10 if onsite) and make as soon as they open the lines up. I decided late to do it and so we had to break up our party of 4 into 2 2 top tables instead. Also, when I did do this I found out that you have to ask now for them to check for multiple tables since they will not just automatically do it anymore.

Fanstasmic package just depends on what restaurant you want to eat at and when.

As the other poster mentioned they have some great grand gathering experiences as well, I would have loved to do the Safari but it was already booked up when I called for our dates.

You can book upto 14 people on a reservation when booking online so with your group yu should be fine on line. I prefer online because I have a print out of the reservation. I did book CRT over the phone but only because we are a group of 17 and wanted to all go to that reservation. For most of them someone either isn't going or we break up into smaller groups.

I'd book online at 6am EST. Anything you can't get online, you can then phone in for.

You shouldn't have much trouble as you can book tables for 14 guests online. You can divide the tables up (6, 8) but then you know you won't be sitting together. If you do decide to book them into smaller tables you should put them under different names and confirmation # - some posters have said CM's deleted their ADR's as they thought they were double booked.

You can also book the Fantasmic DP online. I have posted so many times how to do it, I can't possibly do it again (do a search or look further down the page for one).
