Hi there! I was hoping someone could help out us poor DISers who have recently lose our beloved Disney Stores? :confused3

If anyone has a store nearby and could keep us abreast on current merchandise, sales, etc I would greatly appreciate it! We still have a store about 35-40 miles away, and it's worth a drive every now and then for a good sale (or a needed fix!) ... but it's nothing like being able to pop in the one 6 miles away :guilty: :sad2:

So.... anyone out there that can help? I'll keep updates going on this thread and a link in the first post or something, if it takes off. Just a thought....

Thanks in advance! I'm so bummed here! :rotfl:

ETA: WAITING FOR MORE RECENT UPDATES

FYI:

I just hit up my Disney Store on Friday! they were putting out thier Halloween costumes, Camp Rock merchadise, had lots of book bags and lunch boxes, were clearancing the flip-flops($2.99), swimsuits, beach towels, sunglasses and some othere summer shoes(2.99-4.99)! Hope this helps. Had two little ones with me so it was hard to get a good look at everything!

Right now the Studio collection is on sale. The t-shirts are $5.00. the fleece are 50% off. Older t-shirts are marked down to $4.99. Ladies pj's are $7.99. Bookbags are $14.99 and you get the lunchbox for free. Tween bags are $19.99-$24.99 and a free lunch tote.

All costumes will be put out next sunday night. They are so cute this year!

Thank you so much!! I used to visit TDS at LEAST weekly, just to browse if nothing else. Now, especially with gas prices, I am just going to have to go if I "need" to. Boo! I really appreciate the update! :goodvibes

Our nearest one is now an hour away, too. I went this weekend and got 5 of the $5 t-shirts for our trip.

They also have the cutest Wall-e shopping bags, just like the Kroger/Walmart, etc bags, but with him on them for $2.50. (Yes, more than Kroger, but very cute! ;) ) My twins took them today to carry their swim stuff and were a hit at daycare! I also got a Jack Skellington one for dh in hopes that maybe now he'll be a little "greener". LOL!

Great idea for a thread. The one near us closed, too. The next closest one is about 40 minutes away, so we only go up there once in a great while. I'd love to know about any deals they might be having, so we don't waste a trip!

My thoughts exactly! :)

The costumes are starting to come out...nice gowns for :

* Aurora, Belle, Snow White and I think Cinderella
* Alice
* Ariel w/a tail
* White wedding gown (Giselle?)
* Minnie Mouse Red w/white dots ( they also had pink w/white dots for toddlers and babies - the baby costume had cute bloomers! Think there was also baby Tink costumes, but I just couldn't get over the cute bloomers!)
* Jasmine

Those were priced from $39.50 and up. Also a yellow Iridessa fairy costume and Tinkerbell too. Also, Hannah Montana outfits.

For boys, I think there was Buzz, Cars pit crew, Peter Pan, Captain Hook...not much there.

Had cute plush toddler costumes - Daisy Duck,Pluto, Mickey, Donald. Also full sized plush suits for Pooh and Tigger w/masks and capes from Pooh and Friends w/Darby series, I believe.

Our store had 40% off Camp Rock and 50% on some lines of clothes that could work for back to school.

Tink2020, those babies are precious!!

Any updates? The girls and I might venture down later this week, and I'd love to know! :goodvibes

We went to a Disney outlet store in El Paso yesterday. Alot of shirts for 5.00, quite alot of clearance clothes, POC shirts for $1.99, ladies only. There was a couple Cinderella costumes on the sale rack for 29.99 (still too much for me), bins of little kids plush Einstein musical instruments that play for .99, some cute lunchbox things that weren't too expensive, Snow White notecards very cheap, tons of hannah Montana and HSM watches marked down. I don't know if this outlet store has what regular stores have..they have mainly not marked down stuff, so maybe they're the same just called an outlet, which 99.9% of stuff in that outlet mall is full price, so ...

So what's new in the land of "people with Disney Stores nearby"? :confused3

:teeth:

The other day I got some Camp Rock stuff for my dd at 50% off. I got the Joe Jonas pillow for $9.99 and the mug for $6.00 (not sure if that one was 50%-it might have originally been about $9).

I was in ours yesterday. Halloweeen costumes and accessories are 25% off and Hannah Montana and Camp Rock are 40% off.

There were a bunch of kids and adults t-shirts for $4.99.

There were a few racks that had some discounted clothing, but not a lot off (some the nightgowns were $14.99 on sale, dresses $19.99 on sale).

The only real clearance was some leftover summer stuff that had been really well picked over (sunglasses, flip flops, a few pieces of clothing).

I did buy a coffee travel mug for $6.99 (Sleeping Beauty) as mine as somehow disappeared.

Thanks for the updates! Nothing I really am interested in.... and nothing breath-taking, it seems! I still miss getting my fix there! :sad:

I'll try and update this more frequently!

Anyone been lately? I'm assuming holiday stuff is gone, and I didn't get a chance to go :( But what replaced it?

I didnt know this thread was here ! I go by my Disney store at least once a week, I was there yesterday and didnt see much more than what others have posted, costumes, $5 shirts, camp rock stuff, toys, and we still have some Christmas stuff like the PJs, some stockings and a few other random items, you're not missing anything yet although one of the CM's was clearing out space for some Valentines stuff, I only saw some little plush Minnie's

Yes, same here in NY. I walked in, looked around, and left. It ain't like the old days. :headache:

Well I thought this was such a good idea, but never kept up with it! :rotfl:

I'm hoping to head to TDS (45+ mins away) in the next few days, and wanted to know if anyone could fill me in on non-Black Friday related sales? Things that will still be going on next week?

And truthfully, just what kinds of things are in the stores right now even, it's been so long since we made it to Kentucky to check! :sad: Thanks in advance!
