One week to WDW and proposal to my sweetie

So next Saturday I fly out to Orlando and my sweetie will meet me there. I will be proposing (he already knows) but I am still not sure when I will do it. He wanted a nice small and simple platinum ring but I picked out this thick one. You think it will be okay???? It was cheaper too.

I love the colors, those are really unique and pretty.

just make sure he won't be uncomfortable wearing a thick ring as opposed to a smaller one........thick stuff on my fingers bugs me........but thats just me.
but I do love all three of those rings, very nice

LOL,glad you got him the one he wanted! LOL but I do think those colorful bands are very pretty.

I think platinum can withstand being in champagne. I don't think it would hurt, are you putting it in his champagne glass?

My ring is platinum - you can do most anything with it.
It's the strongest precious metal. And will not tarnish.

Oh Man! I asked him to get me a Tungsten Carbide ring so i wouldn't ruin a nice one at work. I actually love the look of the Tungsten Carbides rings. I hope he picked the right one.

I wanted to have someone video it for me but he wants a simple moment to ourselves.
I wanted to have Disney create a firework that spelled it out but that would have been more than the ring!!!!!

We are staying at the Omni Championsgate for the first night and then moving to the Swan for 6 nights. We are doing the Halloween Party ( I have never done it) and wearing costumes. He will be Buzz. I will be Woody!!!!!!!!!
We are eating at LTT, Sci Fi Dine In, Marakkesh, Rose and Crow, Tusker House and my favorite...dinner at 'Ohana. I wonder if they would bring his ring over on a skewer?

Depends on how well his Buzz costume fits... but, generally, I can't talk about that.

I have to admit, I was a little startled by the thick multi color bands. Not that they aren't neat, but when you want thin, plain and simple... ya' know?

Putting the ring in a champagne glass? Would he swallow? (The ring I mean, you nasty minded goats!)...

Could you have it served with dessert in some way?

A princess cut diamond? Actually, it sounds really pretty! Nothing is too special for our very own Royalty, eh? (Notice how I didn't mention moving up in rank)! Aren't you proud of me?

There are neat little boxes of all sorts in Japan and Morocco. Perhaps you could get one of those and have it presented as dessert? Or the appetizer? Or the entree? Or... well, sheesh! I don't know! LOL.

My wife and I didn't do all that. We chose our rings in Ireland and gave them to one another that day. Totally non-sentimental sorts we are.
