Speaking of... I forgot to take a pic before I packed - I'll try to remember before I drink - I got some tiny bottles of rum, and some kind of chocolate vodka, but I also got a little box called a "mini bar" made by Absolut - it is 5 little flavors of vodka, with the recipes on the back - I'm bringing our Mickey cups from WDW, so I think I'll be having some large orders of OJ in the mornings!:thumbsup2
Thats my girl.. you make me so proud! :cloud9:

Hi just checking In! Thanks everyone for the well wishes and looking forward to meeting you Jackie! We have a nice time here in Anaheim. Mostly catching up with family and shopping at DTD and chsracter warehouse for the grandkids. It hass been a little chilly but today it waz a perfect 80 with a nice Breeze! Jim and Iheaded to DLR and had a great day just doing what we felt like doing and of course grabbing a dole Whip! Sailing tomorrow, so a little too excited to SLEEP!:woohoo::yay::dance3: have a great rest of your Week!i

Had a WONDERful cruise! We actually got back home about 11pm Thurs night - I have been trying to catch up on email and snail mail after 2 weeks away, and DGS's 4th Birthday party today, my brother passing through on his move to Idaho and getting caught up with clients. I promise I'll get my pics downloaded and get this thing rolling by tomorrow!

Glad your home safe and sound. Can't wait to hear all about it!

That was so cool seeing it go under the bridge. I was standing on that bridge last summer. Wish I was on the Wonder when it went under.... Was that 6:30 am there time? Lots of people on the decks and on the bridge.

To hold our place until tomorrow, I couldn't resist sharing this video a fellow diser put on our cruise meet thread - here we are - sailing under the GG Bridge at 6:30 am on April 29th! Listen for that beautiful ship's horn! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GDbVxoHgPHk

Oh thats awesome. BUt makes the Wonder look so tiny. Wonder how big the Dream/Fantasy would look compaired to the bridge? lol

Btw Love the excitement in the kids video he's not even on the ship and hes excited! he gets 2 :banana: lol

Welcome home!!! Glad you had a great time!!! The video is very cool. I love the conversation between the daughter and the dad. "I have been dreaming of this moment." "No you haven't." :lmao::rotfl::rotfl2:

WOW- that little girl Lexi REALLy needs to get more excited about life- maybe Tyler could show her how it's done!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2::lmao: :lmao: SO CUTE!!!!! The horn actually made me tear up. :lovestruc I am so glad I am going on the Dream May 6th next year- don't think I could wait a minute longer to get back on a Disney cruise.

Can't wait to hear all about your adventures!!!!! And HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!!!!!:flower3:

Thanks! It was an awesome moment! It was 6:30 am PT. I couldn't see many people on the bridge - I saw one person waving from about where that video was taken, and a couple on the bridge. We were all yelling pretty loudly, so I think you can hear it on the video.

I know it does make the Wonder look small. Funny, too because we were standing near the front stack, and it looked like we just barely cleared it - I can see there was LOTS of room for even the Dream or Fantasy!

Lexi was very excited! I think the dad built it up a bit!:goodvibes

Day 1
I of course had the “I’m too excited to sleep” kind of night. I had been sick with a bad cold coming on all week, and had managed to pretty much kick it by Friday, but I still had no voice and felt all my energy drained by 9 pm. Since I was all packed and had the dog boarded with a friend, I decided to get to bed early as my alarm was set for 3:30am. So for the next 2 hrs, I tossed and turned and hopped out of bed for “one more thing.” I think I finally fell asleep at 11:30. I woke up at 3 a.m. – I laid there until 3:15 and decided to just get up and hit the shower.
Our flight was at 5:35am from our “one gate” airport, so our aim was to be at the airport at 4:45. Jim dropped me and the luggage off in front right on time, and he parked and ran through the 30 degree weather in his shorts and we were checked in and waiting in our boarding area right on time. I was quite frustrated because I was having coughing fits and there is no water available after secrurity! We made it through the one hr noisy flight to SFO. We had a 2 hr layover, so we ordered an omelet breakfast to share at Lori’s Diner. It was actually very good!

It was soon time to board our plane for our 2nd 2 hrs to SNA. We had a nice comfy flight in Economy Plus – gotta love the upgrades on United! We soon landing in the sunshine with palm trees all around us – we had left Winter behind !!! Jim’s uncle Leonard, Aunt Gail and cousin Caitlin were waiting at the bottom of the escalator to Baggage – waving and smiling at us! We hopped in to the Hummer, and were off to lunch at Jim’s all time fav – IN-N-OUT! Caitlin’s Sr. class was putting on a production of The Wiz, and she had just enough time to eat lunch before we dropped her off for practice, so we headed over near her school, Matre Dei, hoping to see the boy she wanted to ask to Prom working. She was trying to get the nerve up to ask him, and we all wanted to cheer her on! No dice. He wasn't there, and now we know she has another date, but all is good!:cutie:

After dropping her off, we headed to the Mall to find Easter goodies. Gail found a bracelet at Macy’s, and I found a cute sun top at a trendy store which I don’t remember the name of. We stopped in the Disney store and found some flip flops on sale for the grandkids, and a stuffed Perry for Caitlin. I was now feeling so tired and out of gas that Gail decided it was time for me to take a nap! I didn’t argue – we headed home to Anaheim Hills and unloaded the car. I was so happy to flop in to bed for the next 1 ½ hrs and just relax. I came out on the deck to find the warm California sun shining and Jim visiting with his Aunt and Uncle. We sat and caught up for awhile longer, then opened a bottle of wine and had some cheese and crackers. I felt like we were truly ON VACATION!!!

We picked Caitlin up at about 8pm and headed to the DTD Gardenwalk area for dinner at CPK, otherwise known as California Pizza Kitchen. Jim and Leonard were hungry for some Jambalaya, Gail for the Kung Pao Spaghetti, and I ordered Baja Fish Tacos and a Field Green salad. I was half way through the first taco when I realized I was not eating fish! I actually ate Baja Steak tacos, but they were still delicious!

We headed home and watched a little Disney channel before we all were ready to pass out.

Sorry for the lack of pics here - I meant to take one of our airport from "Wings" but I was so sleepy it didn't occur to me! I also see I once again didn't get pics of the family, I even made a request and then we never seemed to get everyone together! We were in our PJs most of Easter Sundday! :rotfl2: I'll lump the next two days together so as to get on to our DL day!
