One way down, a different way home.

Has anyone done anything like this. We are considering flying down and either taking the train home or seeing if we can rent a car one-way to come home.

The reason we are trying to do this is, we will fly out of Harrisburg,PA and we only want to down non-stop flights(we never flew before and we have 3 kids) and the only non-stop flight home we see so far leaves at 8:00am, we would have to get up really early and with the kids I am sure they will be miserable as will I LOL. We are probably taking AirTran because out of Harrisburg I was able to find tickets for each of us for $69.

If anyone knows of a car rental agency in Orlando that rents one-way, please let me know.

I see you are thinging of fly airtran. Look around on the transportation treat for the one about the $25 coupon. YOu can only have one coupon sent to one email address so you may have to create a free email address on hotmail or yahoo in order to get enough coupons. Then book each one of you fights seperately in order to use more that one coupon

What about flying out of Baltimore on Southwest? Most of the flights to florida are non-stops.
