I found on Air Canada today a very cheap (for here) flight out of Halifax. It was $165 before taxes, which is about $230 everything in. It is only if you are leaving on Dec. 31st. I SO want to go see the way the castle is lit up this year! I'd be willing to go for just the one night if it meant I could go!!!
Can you tell I really want to go?
It is way more expensive to come home (and as of yesterday the cheapest way down was at least 150ish more) It's crazy how expensive the flights are right now.
I can't to go anytime other than the week after Christmas (I really can't afford that anyway) because I'm a teacher.
I just wanted to share the info in case someone else can use the cheap flight.
I had checked through expedia and you can get return from there around the 5th of Jan for about $350. I know $600 is expensive for most people, but for that time period, it's been over $1000 lately (at least out of Charlottetown, around $900 out of Halifax.)
Hopefully some good Maritimer can go with this one way price!
