One way car rental...

Anyone have any decent codes or tips for renting a car one way? I am thinking about changing my flights to fly into Tampa on 5/28 and out of Orlando on 6/5. I just can't get into MCO that weekend without spending a fortune but Tampa has a flight that isn't too expensive. However, the return flight is still cheaper at MCO.

Right now I can find a car for around $200 total. Any tips on getting it cheaper?

Tip: Keep checking back. Car rental rates change a lot.

Tip: I would also keep checking back on airfare and not deal with Tampa.

We are flying into MCO on 8/13 and got a rate of a little over $44 for 1 day, turning the car in at Port Canaveral. Now, the rate from Port Canaveral back to MCO was double that for some reason. Still, that's a lot less than your $200 quote. I didn't price anything out of/into Tampa, but carrentals.com has very competitive prices at most locations.

I have actually been doing that and just found a flight out the next morning that will work! The fare was higher yesterday but today it was down a little. Thank goodness. I really didn't want to deal with 2 airports!! Now I just have to wait 40 days. That is the hard part!!!
