I'm sooo disappointed. Ok, maybe I'm even acting a little childish, but I'm so sick of DH changing my plans. First we were supposed to sneak away (just the 2 of us) in January and work "cancelled" any vacations for 1st quarter. Ok, that I can understand. Then DH comes home and says...ok we can go during spring break. YEA! I'm happy again. Told the boys their both psyched! Now, Dh comes home and says "hmm instead of Disney how about something different?" I say" Ummm....NO!" So now we're trying to figure out how to combine things and still do Disney. I'm wondering if it's even worth it. I need help!
The plan is now to leave on fri (4/2) and drive to friends in KY for a couple of days. Eventually arrive at WDW on mon (4/5) not knowing what time...probably late afternoon...so no parks planned, dinner at O'hanas'. tues (4/6) do MK then leave WDW on wed (4/7) to go to Jacksonville to visit relatives for a day or two and then drive home to MI. To me sounds like a whole lot of road time and no fun.
There are sooo many things that I've never done at MK, that DS10 and I were excited about doing. Now I'm wondering if I should just scrap the idea and see if I can convince DH into going at Christmas next year.
Dilemma there....how terrible is it traveling on Christmas Day. I'd like to be home for Christmas morning and then catch a flight to Orlando in the afternoon or evening. Would save on having to carry santa's gifts down and back.
ok, I know I'm rambling, but I'm so confused and disappointed and ughh!
These are the things we wanted to do at MK
-Philharmagic
-Space MT
-Tom Sawyer Island
-Swiss Family TH (dh and ds did this last time I sat w/ DS2)
-Magic carpets
-Hall of presidents
-country bear jamboree
-goffy's barnstormer
-timekeeper
-COP
-riverboat
-astro orbiter
-whatever the show is that replace the diamond horseshoe saloon
-want to see Wishes
Are these doable in 1 day, and still try to get in the favorites? POC, HM, PP, WTP, IASW? sounds like too much for one day
Ok, DH's other suggestion was get a cabin in the Smokies for a week. Not as far to drive and no park tickets to worry about. Just sit back and enjoy the scenery.
What do I do?!?!
