One Too Many, A Tale of Dramatic Events...DAY 2 COMPLETE!

SO I have been trying for DAYS to post from my Iphone but apparently none of the posts went through.

Everything here is good as usual...We love CSR. There have been a few bumps. Nothing too major. We didn't get any of our requests...but we ended up begging for one (connecting rooms) since we spilt mine and her kids on the reservations and her son was in mine) and finally got it. We are in building 6B rooms 6644 and 6643...We have enjoyed a few drinks from the Laguna Bar and we relaxed on the hammocks while the kids ran and played football in the sand. The kids have played in the pool nightly at the dig site and we skipped our breakfast ADR this morning so we could eat at least once at the Pepper Market for lunch...Didn't dissapoint though I still want them to bring the fajitas back! LOL

Weather has been amazing (until tonight when it POURED and we looked like drowned rats running through Epcot). Crowds have been light.

Today is my birthday so Melissa called Disney Florist and ordered me something (still dont know what) and it never came...She had to tell me when we came back to the room tonight since she got immediately on the phone with the desk and started freaking out. Disney Florist is expensive you know, then it doesn't even show up???? OUCH. So the manager Casey (Hi CASEY!) is working on it for her since it is after 10pm and we can't get in touch with the florist right now and will call her tomorrow with a solution. He was a nice guy :)

So overall, trip has been great. I'll try and post pics soon. For now---I have 2 more days to relax and enjoy this since with the house move (I BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! we are closing next month) and my surgery on my shoulder Wednesday I don't plan on any vacas for quite awhile.

I'm glad your having fun. I hope you enjoy your time at disney.

I just got all caught up. Thanks for updating us especially with how busy you have been.

I LOVED the photo of the girls nail polish, Red with white polka dots very Minnie ::MinnieMo Love em!!!

I can not wait to hear more, at your own pace of course. :goodvibes

So it is currently 2:17 am and where am I? Sitting outside my hotel room door in the darkness (almost) listening to bugs and frogs and thinking of what I am going home to.
Disney has beenmy excape from reality for many years but it is time for all of that to change. We fly home tomorrow and I am scheduled for surgery on Wednesday, sign the P&S on our "hopefully" new home Tuesday and I don't see a vacation in sight for the first time in a LONG time. I am ignoring the nagging bounceback offer that is sitting on the desk. I am turning my nose up to the kindness to the staff here. I am refusing to take in the sights and smells and sounds that I swear have some sort of subliminal message that keeps us needing and wanting more.

The trip has been good. Not the greatest---but then again I am in a lot of pain 99.9% of my day. I am also stressed and ready to just push the anxiety (which I am having bad so that is why I am up right now) aside and just get these things checked off my list.

I am hoping to update with some photos (we took bunches) over the next week or so as I recover. I hope that I can find it in myself to stick around the DIS even though I will be trying to stay away from my addiction and the DIS feeds it.

I guess its a good thing it is currently 78 degrees and not windy or wet out here huh? :)

I'm sorry you haven't been feeling your best and that your anxiety with what lies ahead is bothering you. Just hang in there, and don't push away the magic of your favorite place!!! Embrace it! :)

Hope you have a safe trip home.

I hope your surgery goes well I will be keep you in my prayers:grouphug::flower3:

We hope you keep the Magic inside of you and even tho a return trip doesn't look too promising in the near future, Disney will always be there waiting for you!

Best of luck on your surgery and a speedy recovery  You have alot on your plate right now with surgery and closing on a new home so stress can inch its way into your life but keep your chin up and come visit us here on the Disboards - sometimes just signing in makes me feel better even if a trip isn't in the near future (I waited 11 years before I could return and I always kept the dream alive!) :grouphug:

WOW 11 years! I give you credit..Id sell my first born child to not have to wait that long...(LOL KIDDING I SWEAR!! HAHA)

I am pretty sure I'll get back there in a few years...but we decided for the price it just isn't in the near future again. We'll probably do a cheap beach vacation...or since we'll have an inground pool, just take the week off and stick around the new house next summer.

Set to close a month from tomorrow if all goes well. Wish us luck! They already have our P&S and a $5,000 deposit!

Thanks for reading along and for the words of encouragement.
