One Too Many, A Tale of Dramatic Events...DAY 2 COMPLETE!

It was about an hour and a half till our ADRs at Marrakesh so we decided to head to the World Showcase to poke around and we'd use our FP's later. So we hit Mexico first
ry%3D400

and did the ride there. Which is cute but corney, but I still make it a point to visit every trip. And then the sky opened up as we were walking. So we ran for Germany trying to get as close to Morocco as possible and we ducked into the store to stay dry for a few minutes before bolting back out during a let up and heading to Morocco where it started pouring again. We hung out inside the store where Tayler made her first mask
ry%3D400

The music was SO loud in there but I loved it and said I wanted to get back there to buy the cd...sadly I never did.
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

The guys there started chatting with us and one began drawing Ashley.
ry%3D400

This was his work...lol
ry%3D400

We then headed over for our ADRs ar Marrakesh. Which I will just post pics of us there and some atmosphere...For the most part we block this place out. It was our worst meal of the trip. I got a lesson that day. Go with your gut when making ADRs lol. The service was crappy for us that night, the food was "eh" and the kids were just getting very cranky since they had been up since 3:30

So half way through the meal Conner and Tayler both fall asleep. I got a pic of Conner as if I tried on Tay and she caught me Id be in trouble! lol

ry%3D400

So after we leave Marrakesh my mom decides her and Conner have had enough and they head back to the room while we go use our FPs. First up---SOARIN! Since we had 2 extra FPs now we waited in the FP que for a couple to go into standby (60 minute wait) and handed them the FPs. They were SO greatful!

Where we ended off the night and headed to the bus stop....This is when I called my dad and asked him if he could send the air card and Trae's Disney $$ we left at home. Little did I know it would cost me $50!
ry%3D400

Once back at CSR the kids begged to go swimming so we changed and headed to the Dig Site.

Best investement of the vacation...My Fujifilm waterproof digital camera. We couldnt have been happier having it at the pool and water parks.

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

So finally about 9:30 we decided to call it a night and head back to the room...Afterall, we head a full day coming up...Blizzard Beach!!

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

So that concludes Day 1...Ashley decided she wanted to sleep in my moms room (which we learned at this point it was room 4256...right down the hall) and Tayler would sleep in with us. Worked out better since the younger kids seemed to get Conner going and wound up so the older girls were a better match in the room with him.

Hopefully I can get Day 2 posted after I get home from physical therapy. Today I am being evaluated so my therapist can report to my surgeon whether on not I need surgery on my shoulder. I have an impingement which is:
Impingement is one of the most common causes of pain in the adult shoulder. It results from pressure on the rotator cuff from part of the shoulder blade (scapula) as the arm is lifted.

The rotator cuff is a tendon linking four muscles: the supraspinatus, the infraspinatus, the subscapularis, and the teres minor. These muscles cover the "ball" of the shoulder (head of the humerus). The muscles work together to lift and rotate the shoulder.

The acromion is the front edge of the shoulder blade. It sits over and in front of the humeral head. As the arm is lifted, the acromion rubs, or "impinges" on, the surface of the rotator cuff. This causes pain and limits movement.

Easiest way to describe it is with medical terms lol!

On the first day I thought my impingement was in my LEFT shoulder also....The pain continued throughout the trip but subsided since returning home.

Surgery on my right shoulder wouldnt be such a bad thing..Ive dealt with this since right after last Augusts trip! They thought I have a tumor in my shoulder...THANKFULLY it worked out to be this. but OUCH does it hurt.

OK I'll try and get back soon ;)

Michelle, as always, an awesome report and awesome pictures. I love the one of Connor sleeping on the table--so precious. Can't wait to read more and I hope you don't need surgery!

Thanks ;) Conner fell asleep AFTER he smashed a tomato into his own face and threw food at me (and a crayon). He was VERY cranky during that meal. We all sighed with relief when he passed out lol.

I would love to continue with the report but it is time for work. I have a closing shift tomorrow also so there is a good chance Day 2 will be posted since it mainly was Blizzard Beach (so all photos not much storyline) the pool and dinner at Cape May (with Illuminations ending the day). Easy Peasy. ;)

Enjoying your report so far Michelle. And guess what, my dh had surgery on his left shoulder exactly one week ago. We leave for disney in a month and a half so he should be doing better by then (I hope!). BTW, where did you say you were from??

Im enjoying your trip report! Well be in WDW in 2 weeks, hoping to book a bounceback and try CSR next year, I absolutly love the pictures. It looks so beautiful!:cloud9:

Oh boy! What did he have done? They are thinking the want to do a subacromial decompression or anterior acromioplasty which will remove bone and soft tissue to allow the rotator cuff to move more freely.

Heres to hoping for a speedy recovery for your hubby and a perfect vacation!!

I'm in MA. But hopefully will be a full time Florida resident within the next 3 years. Thats the plan ;)

Looks like our trip could overlap...I'll be there in 2 weeks and 6 days ;) CSR is goregeous IMO. I would try the Poly and the BC, YC....but those are so expensive I feel like I can have such a beautiful resort for so much less. I am hoping to book the bounceback when I go back this month.

Can i just say i kind of gasped and laughed at the kid who asked Crush if he knew how dumb he was... wow! I'm sure stuff like that happens often though at that attraction.

Great trip report, can't wait to read more! Are the Fajitas at Pepper Market really gone!?! First the Wet Burrito and now the Fajitas! What's happening to Mexican theme at CSR?

It is true, sadly. I was very upset. :(

When we woke up Monday we realized the water parks don't open till 10 starting this week so we decided to lounge around a bit. The girls finally made their way to our room around 8:30 and told us that Mom and Conner were staying at CSR for the day to hang out by the pool.

We went to Cafe Rix and grabbed danishes and my frozen mocha frapp and some drinks then sat by the lake and watched the fish and MASSIVE turtles (we didn't get any pics of them really...we were amazed at their size!)
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

We got BIG fish photos though...
ry%3D400

and headed to the bus stop. WOAH. There had to be 35-40 people at Bus Stop #1. I noticed some irate people saying the Ecpot busses hadn't been by in OVER an hour. There was a bus monitor there and a manager was on his way over. They had called the situation in and said they were sure a bus would be by within moments. This one mad who was visibly mad stood in front of the group and told others that "He was first and everyone can wait behind him!" He pushed people trying to get on the first bus that pulled up---which cracked me up because Bus Stop #1 is LAST for pickup and all the other bus stops had LOADED the bus so he was crammed in and there was 5....YUP 5 busses for Epcot following behind...the last 2 were empty and left empty. He could have had his own bus and only waited 60 seconds more.

So we make our way to BLizzard Beach a few minutes before opening and make our way to rent a locker and get situated. Trae planned on riding Summit Plummit today and when we got there he decided to ride a few other things first and think about whether he was still going to do it.

Mainly the rest of this day part is going to be photos since I have NO idea what we did when.

ry%3D400

Going UP.....Trae decided he wasn't going to do Summit Plummet alone...But none of us wanted to go down it...so we ended up on the slide next to it

ry%3D400

That slide SCARES me!

Towards the end of our Blizzard Beach day we were debating lunch at the park or at the resort. We figured we might as well eat now since dinner was early at Cape May so we went to Lottawatta Lodge and had burgers and cheesecake. Nothing special, typical park bites.
Another fun water park day

ry%3D400

Back at the resort the kids wanted to go swimming (Like we weren't all water logged) so as soon as we got off the bus that is where we went. I of course had to hit Siestas pool bar and have a pina colada ;)

About 3:30 we got ready
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

and headed to Epcot to make our way to the Beach Club for dinner. It was just beginning to look like it was going to pour buckets and the wind was SO strong. We stopped in Spaceship Earth
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

and then ran like mad through the park to International Gateway.

We arrived for our ADR and were searted within minutes of checking in. Food as always was pretty good here. THis is one buffet I enjoy, though the setup sucks. You have people coming at you from all directions and it is hard to maneauver. Many people commented while we were there.
Barely got any pics here:

From there we strolled the boardwalk
ry%3D400

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

and watched a street magician (which I try and do every trip) and the kids (still hungry???) got popcorn and TC stopped and got an espresso with Bailey's from a booth there. We decided to see Illuminations that night since nobody was really tired so we headed right over the bridge and found an obstructed view (but not too bad) right before France.
ry%3D400

Conner was so excited to see fireworks..till they started and he said "Auntie, I wanna go home!" but we sat him in the stroller and he peeked every now and then.

It was a pretty uneventful day and I didn't have much to say but I hope the photos make up for that ;)

Great pics, Michelle. Looks like you guys really had fun at Blizzard Beach.

So I just booked the limo for our trip in 2.5 weeks..I called and the guy started asking questions about whether we have used them before..I told him we just returned home Monday night and they were a great service (we used them last year also) and the guy started laughing and told me he was just called TC and told him my son left his hat in the limo. He lives RIGHT next to my work *same road* and said he can drop off the hat to me. I probably know him so soon I'll be asking where my frequent traveler discount is....Limos are pricey!

So I have the next 3 days off (pretty busy for Sunday and Monday) but will hopefully have Day 3 up on Tuesday...I need to get this report moving if I want to be able to start on my Pre Trippie for the next one and get that one off to a fresh start.

READY?!? :)

Great pics, Michelle. Looks like you guys really had fun at Blizzard Beach.

We did...I was never a fan of BB...Always loved Typhoon Lagoon but we had a lot of fun and we'll fit it in for our longer trips for sure now ;)
