One Too Many, A Tale of Dramatic Events...DAY 2 COMPLETE!

Sorry guys!!! The aircard JUST arrived that my dad sent overnight mail so I will be starting hopefully later tonight (we are headed to the pool now). I will say though that we have pretty much 100% completed Epcot, done Blizzard Beach, almost all of Animal Kingdom this morning and we still have 6.5 days left ;) Tonight is Raglan Road and DTD so depending what time we make it back I'll have to fill everyone in on the weather, crowds, and meals so far.

Thanks to everyone who is sticking around to read ;)

Hey! I didn't know you were starting another report, I am soo happy, I love your TR's! DH and I are going back again in September for 11 days!!! Woo hoo, it's just me and him this time and we are both looking forward to it! I have to make it through 14 more days before we leave, and of course it will feel like 14 months! Anyway, hope you are having a blast, and I can't wait to hear all about it when you get back!!!

Back from DTD and dinner...Ashley had a major teenage meltdown and we are all back at the room frustrated giving the silent treatment so it is definitely time for bed. AHHHH teenage hormones...gotta love em :)

Rained all night so we were cold and wet getting back on the bus tonight, but other then that the day was awesome weather-wise. Sun was blazing hot, but it was great.

Magic Kingdom tomorrow and midday rest so I'll try and get some pics up (they aren't uploading to shutterfly :(

Gotta love those teenagers! They don't get any better at 21 or 23 sometimes either (oldest DS broke up with his girlfriend of a year--he did the breaking up--and I want to strangle him).

Hey everyone!!

OK so first things first. Weather has been pretty decent...Small periods of rain, but it has been kinda drizzly for the last few hours now. But even with that the kids are at the pool ;)

Dinner tonight was @ 'Ohana and it was better this trip then my last trip---yummmmm I LOVE the dumplings!!! The kids had a blast and we spent just over and hour and a half there hanging out and laughing. I even danced with my lil man Trae for a Lei :)

Crowds.....It has been quiet for the most part. We have had nothing more then 20 minute waits at most if we hit everything early---With the exception of Sunday when we grabbed FP's for TT and Soarin. Walk on to Mission Space, Spaceship Earth, TT with Crush, Nemo, Figment. I actually finally tried the Orange side on MS and it wasn't as bad as I built it up to be.

AK yesterday wasn't bad...we got in right at opening and rode EE twice in a row got Kali FP's from a CM when we got off EE so we rode that twice in a row, did Safari (with FP's) Dinosaur (no wait, walked right in to the preshow) Primevil Whirl (10 minute wait for the kids) Bug's Life (walk-in) and we ate at Pizzafari and left by 1:00. Not a bad touring day ;)

I will get into more detail with photos when I get home. Tomorrow is DHS day so the plan is TC runs for TSM and gets FP's while the rest of us hit RnR at opening then ToT. Then wander around a bit doing the less exciting rides till we do TSM and then early break for lunch at the Pepper Market. Swim and rest because dinner is at Whispering Canyon and we plan to see Wishes tomorrow night also.

The places we have eaten so far:
Marrakesh----big thumbs down all around. We won't be returning...More details to follow when we return home

Cape May---We have always enjoyed Cape May (and the Beach Club overall) so it'll stay on our must do list. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

Raglan Road---- Ate here last August...got an "ok" from most of us but we returned anyway...it was AMAZING. We all enjoyed our food and WILL be returning here. Waitress could have been better. She was very quiet and spaced out the whole time

'Ohana---I already spoke of this earlier on. We had a great time. It is going on the Must Do list.

Pepper Market---I posted there has been some changes. But it is still great if you are staying at CSR.

Pizzafari---Lots of happy Campers with the hot Italian Sandwich. yummmmm

LottaWatta Lodge---- basic cheeseburgers and kids nuggets. Thats all I can say about that.

Columbia Harbour House---First for me, for us. Having a Tuna sandwich on multigrain bread just felt refreshing after eating so junky the last few days. I was pleasantly surprised. :)

So that is about all I can report right now...TC took the kids to the pool and I am DYING to upload more pics and get a NICE hot shower (not too hot, I have a sunburn!) then relax for the rest of the night. We are planning on being up at 6:30 so we can get the 8 of us moving and at breakfast by 7:30 to be at DHS for rope drop. I can only hope right?!?

If I can get some pics on shutterfly tonight I'll post. If not then we may be waiting till I get home. SADLY :(

So finally I got the start of my photos upload to shutterfly...so I'll start ;) Here we go--Bright eyed and bushy tailed at 4:00 am ;)

So when I last left off we had 2 hours till landing. The kids goofed off a bit and just had fun. Tayler seemed pretty calm so I guess her fear of flying wasn't as bad as we thought it was going to be.

ry%3D400

We landed on-time. Once off everyone made their way to the bathroom and then to the mini monorail:

ry%3D400

and then quickly to DME. Since we had our booklets we no longer had to go to the check-in counter....I actually had to question the girl twice when she pointed me directly to the bus instead of sending me to the counter. Nice new feature though :)

The bus was pretty empty

ry%3D400

ry%3D400

and we were the first stop. I love the feeling when I step off the bus and I get the feeling of "I'm Home!!" . CSR always gives me that feeling and I have to take it all in.
I
ll continue tomorrow after I upload more pics ;)

Michelle, the pictures are great -- as always. Thanks for doing this while you are on vacation. The report and pics are getting me excited for our trip in 22 days.

The photo of all 5 kids in the limo is priceless. Everyone looks so happy and excited. I can not wait to see more photo's especially of the resort. Next time we come down I have to stay at CSR.

Have fun. Did you get your room requests??? :goodvibes

I will spill and say Yes we did get our request ;) We wanted Casitas 4 and we got it...So did ma and the kids but they are in the back overlooking the parking lot (they didn't have water view).

I will be posting as much as possible as soon as I get home since my photos arenbt uploading too well here to shutterfly.

Can't wait to read more! I have about a month before I get to be there myself, so I have to get my fix through as many TRs as I can for now! It sounds like you have a fun bunch, I hope you all have a great time!

I'M HOMMMMMMMEEEE!!!

Not at all happy about that statement...It is currently 63 degrees here and I am shivering. GIVE ME BACK MY FLORIDA SUNSHINE!!

I will be returning to the world in 3 weeks and 1 day (Thanks to my absolute best friend in the world!!!) and I feel like its too long. Thats because I am in a sweatshirt :(

So I need to get my laptop out of the bag today and start uploading all my photos so I can start posting about the trip. We had a blast...A few meltdowns (mainly at dinner with Conner) but all in all I enjoyed every second I could.

Catch up soon!

We've been wearing a sweatshirt here for over a week now (and it feels like most of the summer -- I remember 4th of July I was wearing a sweatshirt). I'm glad you are home...but only because I am anxious to see your pics and I know you are going back in three weeks. :)

Aww thanks ;) I am going to try and move all my photos from the laptop over here to the desktop (much easier to upload to shutterfly and post reports).

So once that is done I will hopefully get this party started! I still have no clue what I am working this week (*besides tomorrow night, first day back*)

Can't wait to read about the whole trip! You are so brave taking 2 teenage girls plus a toddler - but sounds so far like you had a great trip.

Did you surprise the kids with the limo? Great pic of everyone! Anxious to hear how your mom enjoyed the trip (I treated my daughter, her then Fiance & her then 14-mos old son to WDW back in December for 4 days and I enjoyed walking around with him in the stroller while she & her fiance went on the attractions but he was pretty easy to watch then. And we had the best time of our lives and the memories to last. Now that he's almost 2, it seems she wants to include me on all excursions as more of a babysitter so she can enjoy herself. That's not a bad thing, I love my grandson and I want her to have fun too but her brothers think she tends to take advantage of that.) You have a beautiful family and hope you had a wonderful trip

Also can't wait to see pics of CBR! Would love to stay there some day!

Ok, well I am wondering how much I can crank out of this report seeing as I am back there in 3 weeks from today and I rarely get a day off from work that I can just sit and report.

I was awoken today to my neighbors house on fire. My bedroom window was open and I could hear yelling and screaming and then saw the flashing lights. When I got out there they had already put out most of the fire and there was just black smoke...A LOT of items are on their front lawn but everyone is ok and they are inside now. Not sure how much damage, but they were saying neds are burned. :(

Ok so now on a positive note:

Hmmmm where did I leave off? Oh yes I was about to be on Coronado Springs property ;)

So we arrive and I had done online check-in, which I began to wonder if I would regret it. I love the feeling of checking in at the desk, chatting it up with the CM...and even sometimes you get some nice surprises :) But we make our way in and there was 2 seperate lines, and we got into the online-check-in one (which was shorter) and waited about 10 minutes to be helped.
ry%3D400

Seemed a little less personal to me (which I mentioned before that I like) and I was given my packet, they told me the room was ready and the location was circled on the map, the tickets were verified and I was sent on my way. Hmmmm not as magical as I like, but efficent.

We decide we are hungry so we head to the Pepper Market to start using our DDP credits.
ry%3D400

I had been dreaming of my beloved fajitas so when I got there TC told me he'd have the same and he'd stay at the table with our nephew while I went up with the kids. I got to the "Mexican" station and the choices were:

Beef Steak sub with Melted cheese and onions

Chicken Quesadillas

Chicken and mushrooms over rice

??????????????????????????????????????

Where are my fajitas???? So I ordered the quesadillas and sent TC up to decide what he wanted. Another thing we noticed is Pepper Market used to give you menus when you came in to help you decide before you went up what you'd have...No more :( Im sure a cost cutting measure but it was a signifacant change for us. It made it easier for us to maneauver around with the kids. But it still wasn't a deal breaker for us. We have always enjoyed the CM's and the food at the Pepper Market.

ry%3D400

At this point I ask the kids if they'd rather hot the park (Epcot) or go swimming. Tayler who had never been chose the park for RIDES! so we dropped off all our luggage to my room (room 4233)

ry%3D400

since my moms room wasn't ready yet. They could tell us it was the same building, same floor, but on the back side of the building (parking lot view). It's ok, we'll work it out :)
This lil guy jumped on my foot when I was walking
ry%3D400

It was cute...I have 2 geckos at home.

Directly to the bus stop and within minutes the Epcot bus pulled up
ry%3D400

and we were at the park by 1pm.
ry%3D400

First up---Secure FP's for Soarin and then go kill time. So we headed into Nemo and walked on,

then Crush and played with the stingrays while waiting...Who knew they had to much personality??? We watched them be fed and took some video of them.
[IMG]http://im1.shutterfly.com/media/47b9d720b3127ccef856aae3ad2900000040O08BZuWzNu3bA9vPhg/cC/f%3D0/ps%3D50/r%3D0/rx%3D550/ry%3D400/

Once into Turtle Talk with Crush ,
ry%3D400

my 9 year old Trae was the first kid picked for a question. When Crush asked him what was his favorite part so far, Trae replied "Coming Here". Meaning coming to Disney TODAY but Crush said "ooooo, warm and fuzzy moment dude, I enjoy seeing you too" lol. TC then had to talk to Crush when he asked for Trae's (Drake as Crush called him) parental units.
Another child was chosen and he asked "Crush, Do you know how dumb you are?" Everyone sat there speechless. When Crush asked for his parental unit nobody claimed the kid...WOOOOPS!

So once out of Crush we headed over to FIGMENT.

ry%3D400

I still find the ride cute...I guess Im the only one since it is ALWAYS a walk on! LOL. The kids played in the area after sending my nieces mom a postcard in email and goofing off. Trae started asking if we could go to Club Cool and have some "China" and I decided to dupe Tayler into trying Beverly.
It worked and I can hopefully get the video uploaded to my new shutterfly site to post.

At this point we could get FP's for Test Track so we headed over and grabbed those and then saw Mission Space had no wait to the smaller kids headed with TC to the green side and I for the first time for the Orange. OHHHH BOY. When they say its intense it really is intense. But I survived and I am hear to tell about it. So thats good for something right?? haha.

We decided to go poke around in Innoventions
ry%3D400

and we went to "What's Your Problem?" and it is about Velcro...But because of it I can't call it Velcro. I have to call it Hook and Loop, which we all did for the rest of the trip. TC was picked for the show and if you haven't seen it, it can get pretty funny so I say check it out if you have the time.
