One time points question

I have read that I can purchase up to 24 one time use points per use year to complete a reservation. Hypothetically, if I'm making a reservation using 2 years of points can I get 48 one time use points?
I don't want to borrow points already!

I'm not sure. The rules say as an alternative to borrowing. So if you are borrowing from the following use year, they may not allow you to buy points in each year. Give member services a call. You may want to look for a member to transfer points.

One-time-use vacation points are vacation points available for Disney Vacation Club Members to use as an alternative to borrowing vacation points from the following use year's allotment.
You can obtain a maximum of 24 one-time-use vacation points once per use year per membership.
A maximum of 24 one-time-use vacation points are processed in a single transaction, not multiple transactions.
The fee for one-time-use vacation points is $15 (including tax) per vacation point, and is subject to change.
One-time-use vacation points expire according to the use year of the reservation booked and are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be banked or borrowed.
One-time-use vacation points are not available for waitlist reservations.
One-time-use vacation points cannot be applied retroactively to existing reservations.
One-time-use vacation points are only available for Members whose contract is closed and in good standing.
One-time-use vacation points are available only for Disney Vacation Club Resorts, Disney Collection*, Adventurer Collection* and World Passport Collection reservations.

* Available when you purchase directly from Disney.
One-time-use vacation points used for Disney Vacation Club resort reservations can only be used up to 7 months prior to arrival.
One-time-use vacation points for Disney Collection, Adventurer Collection and World Passport reservations can be used according to the booking guidelines for each individual collection.

You can ONLY puchase the one-time use points to full-fill a vacation within your 7 month travel window. You can only purchase enough points to get the needed amount not extra to bank. Yes, you can use banked, borrowed, current, and one-time purchased points for travel within the 7-month window.

Would it make a difference if the 2 years points I'm using are banked not borrowed?

Ok so would they let me use my banked points plus 20 one time use for 1 reservation and then another reservation of current points plus 22 one time use points within the same year ? Or would they make me use the banked and current for the first reservation?

Unless you have multiple DVC memberships (unique membership numbers regardless of the number of contracts in each membership) you may purchase up to 24 OTUP (total) to complete a single reservation. Unless you get a MS rep who is very generous and able to override the system, it is unlikely to be able to spread the 24 over multiple reservations. Being allowed to purchase more than 24 points in a single Use Year is really unlikely.

If you do have multiple memberships then you could purchase up to 24 OTUP for each one when making reservations within 7 months of arrival.
