I never leave without sunblock. Hats, visors and sunglasses definitely help, but I always apply in the morning and reapply midday, depending on how often I'm outside. Even when it's not sunny, those UV rays will get you.
Also, a water bottle with a filter cap. I never liked the taste of the water in the parks.
Does the Water bottle with a filter really work to make the water taste better? I love water, but can't drink that water it is so nasty and I hate paying 2.50 for a bottle of water that I go through in about 5 minutes. What type of bottle is it and where can it be found?
Thanks!!!
Oh and the one thing I can't live without is my camera!!!

I believe I've seen the filter water bottles at Wal-Mart, but that's all I really know about them. I'm going to look into buying one for my trip. Thanks for all the tips everyone!
They are Brita bottles...I really don't think they do much for the taste of the water...we have tried them...and have resorted to paying the 2.50...plus the water from the fountains isn't really cold....I don't mind it but DD and DH like the water ice cold.

i agree 100% with you pooh67. rob busts my chops about bringing chapstick with me but hey. i rather have my lips comfortable and kissable than chapped and cracked!!i never leave home without my chapstick.
Good hand & feet cream. Clean white cotton socks. I rub the cream on my feet before bed,put on the white cotton socks and in the morning I'm ready for another day of fun. This really does help. Give it a try. Gina
