Hello,
We are leaving tomorrow and just last night DH noticed that his sports coat doesn't really fit anymore.
We were only going to bring one suit for both formal and semi and just different shirts and ties, could he get away with just wearing his jacket from his suit with Khakis, a dress shirt and tie?

I hope so, otherwise we will be out tonight buying him a new sports coat!!

Thanks!!

Sounds like a great solution to me!

I wish women's wardrobes were designed to be so easily mixed and matched and versatile!

Yes and the other good thing is.....more room in the garment bag for my clothes....lol

Thanks for the quick replies!!!

Stacey-

I think it depends on the suit. If it's black pin stripes that he's planning on wearing with khaki chinos you might want to pick up a sport coat :) That sounds like something my fashion disaster DH would try to do--and then not understand when I just groan and roll my eyes back in my head LOL!

Anne.....LOL!!!

It is an Olive colored green suit...I think that should pass with a light colored Khaki right?
Besides I know my hubby, he will wear it in and take off the jacket as soon as he is sitting!

Thanks,
Stacey

My DH only took one suit as well. Just a different shirt and tie on semi-formal night. It was fine. An alternative to a different jacket is some type of vest. It's a lot cheaper. I brought a sweater vest for DS, but they probably wouldn't be very available this time of year (lol).
