If you could only pick ONE of what are widely considered Disney's signature resort restaurants (excluding V&As) to dine at for all your future visits to WDW, which would it be?

Your options are: Artists Point, California Grill, Citricos, Flying Fish Cafe, Jiko, Narcoossee's, and Yacthsman Steakhouse

It's a tough decision for me but in the end I think I have to go with Artists Point. The smokey portobello soup puts that place over the edge for me. Of all the great food I've had at WDW, that soup remains at the top of the list.

Edit: Sorry, I meant to post this in the main dining forum. I didn't realize I was still in Reviews when I created it. Can a mod please move it?

I haven't eaten at all of the signatures yet. I'm working on it. So far we've eaten at Artist Point, Flying Fish Cafe & Yachtman's Steakhouse.

I could rank them thus far:

#1 = Flying Fish
#2 = Yachtman's Steakhouse
#3 = Artist's Point

Artist's point came in last place because of the service we received. We were ignored for a full hour. I don't think this is the norm but we never got a satisfactory answer to why we were ignored. Anyways... the salmon I had there was amazing.

I am certainly not an expert when it comes to signature restaurants. We have dined at AP twice, Jiko twice (DH more than that), Cali Grill once, Flying Fish once and I think that's it. If I had to choose from those it would be between AP and Jiko for me. I am going to give my nod to AP if I had to choose forever because of the mushroom soup and the "cobbler". I have not been as fond as most people of the appetizers at Jiko (wasn't impressed by the flatbreads or taste of Africa). Still, the overall meal was fantastic.

I voted for California Grill. It's not just food it's an experience.

I agree ... and given that the lobster and goat cheese risotto we had there was one of my wife's top two dishes ever ... I bet she would vote for Cali Grill as well :goodvibes

Well right now I vote for Citricos, but I've only eaten there and at CG. That will change in 3 weeks though. I have ADR's for Narcoossee's and The Brown Derby coming up! :cutie:

Jiko. I love it, I love it, I love it.

I also love Bistro de Paris, but that's not on the list :( And Citricos rounds out my top 3!
