One parent, 3 kids

Thinking about doing one day in MK in June. We went in March and there are just a few rides we didn't get to do that we would like to do. The problem is that it will most likely be me alone with the 3 kids. Youngest kiddo is an infant, is there any way I can walk my 2 bigger kids through the line but not ride myself? Oldest will be 8 and I'm not comfortable leaving them walk through lines on their own.

I'll just make it easier and revise this. Stick with the rule: 7 years old or older. If under the age of 7, child must be accompanied by someone who is 14 years old or older.

Not sure about all of the rides but being a big baby I would stand in the lines with DH and DD and slip out at the end and meet them at the exit. Many of the roller coaster rides are set up for this very type of thing.

Different rides seem to have different ages. at the HM we say you have to be 10 years old or older. If the child is younger then 10 years old they must be accompanied by someone who is 14 years old or older. I thin (I'm not positive because I don't work in those attractions) but I think fantasyland is 7 years old or older. with the same rule about being accompanied by someone 14 years or older. Honestly, it comes down to if the CM is paying attention. I know at the HM if you're at load and it is busy there is a chance of missing a younger child getting on. It depends on who the CM is and if they remember to enforce the rules.

Not sure why HM is 10 when the across property rules is 7. Seems like you guys may have been trained wrong.

OP your situation looks like you are going to have to skip anything with a height requirement. Really stinks but they will need someone 14 or old to ride with the 5 year old. The 8 year old can enter all queues and rides alone but as you said you aren't comfortable leaving them alone in line. Since you have an infant who will be too small for any height requirement rides you won't even be able to enter the queue and put the 8 year old on the ride then use the chicken exit because the baby won't even be allowed through the queue

I see in your signature you have a DSD that is 14 any way they can join on the trip?

You can take the baby on most rides, but I would just explain to the kids upfront what the agenda will be, they'll probably be fine with it

Not sure what is up with that. Could be because it is a very long, "scary", ride in the dark. Either way I revised it to make it simpler for OP. I'll just leave it at that.

The reason makes sense but the rule doesn't. If that makes sense.
They have a published rule of 7 and up being able to ride alone. There are no * listing rides where it's different. So they have it in your training that your ride is different? Is it in writing somewhere?
And how would a guest even know HM is different? While I would never send DGD8 in to ride alone I wouldn't have known I couldn't. If I did send her through would she be turned away? Seems odd to have ride by ride rules and have those rules not listed anywhere for guests to be aware of.

I realize it isn't really applicable to OP it is something that is worth discussion since it could apply to anyone else.

I think it is becoming a bigger deal than it needs to be.

OP, stick with 7 years or older

Ok. I wasn't trying to make it a big deal. Honestly.
I was trying to learn the rules for future reference.
I do go with a child under 10 and if there are rides she can't ride alone I would like to know.

Oh ok, my apologies. Misunderstanding! In the end it really ends up being whether or not the CM is paying attention at load.
