We are staying at Wilderness Lodge for two days and one night.. we will be arriving around 10am. Should we drop our stuff at the lodge first or just head directly to the parks then head to the hotel after???

Any advantages or disavantages to either??

Go ahead and check in first (you never know your villa may be available). If not available, head to the parks.

If you have any room request you can make them then and have better odds than if you show up late and they have fewer options. Also, do you really want to stand in line to check in late at night if you have been at the park all day? Much easier to just go and get a room key. Last thing to think about is are you charging back to your room?, you can set this up at 10am even if your room is not ready.

I would check in first and get your keys. They can text you when your room is ready and then you do not have to go back to the front desk again.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm going to check in first, I didn't realize they can text you when your room is ready.
