Any advice? We need to pick a hotel for our arrival night. Family of 5. We can get an Orange Lake studio or a Caribe Royal one bedroom suite for about the same price.

Anyone know if Orange Lake would hold our luggage afer we check out until it's time to check into our rental house?

:)

We have stayed at Orange Lake 4 times. First time was free (friend owned timeshare there), we stayed in the older section that are all ground floor that you can drive up to. They seemed to be outdated. I dont know if they've been updated yet. The last three times we stayed in the newer section. We enjoyed the first two but the last time last May our elevator only worked 3 of the 7 days we were there. They were working on it,but never seemed to get it fixed. The new waterpark area is nice. But just remember Orange Lake is very spread out. YOu will definitely need a car to get around on property. They do have shuttles but are far and few inbetween. My husband loves Orange Lake because of the golf courses. Just be careful of the high pressure timeshare presentations. I don't know if you own there or not, but they definitely put the pressure on you there. We learned to not answer our room phone. They check you in at one spot now and send you to another to pick up your information. THat's where they also pressure you. Literally they insist that you set up a time before they give you your maps and things. We did but then didn't show, because we've went once before and they are VERY HIGH PRESSURE. I don't know about holding your luggage. You could just call and check before you reserve. Hope this helps.

Ornage Lake is way over on the other side of WDW from the airport. Also, the studios are in the top floors of the clubhouse and have no windows. Personally, I would go w/ Caribe Royale.

If you plan on using the facilities, OLCC, is far and away a better resort. The new River Island pool area is awesome.

If you are only looking for a place to sleep, go with Caribe Royale.

Did you check prices for Doubletree at Downtown Disney? Great location, actually on Disney property.
