We'll arrive around 1. Might make a stop at AK. Probably will add deluxe dining plan.

3 adults, 3 kids.

I prefer the 2 queen beds and extra space in the Kidani 2 bedroom, but think that Jambo entryway looks more impressive and exciting.

Which has the better pool?

How long of a walk is it between the 2 resorts, and if it's too long, how frequently do the buses come?

Thanks for the tips!

I don't think that you will have much time to see or enjoy either resort. By the time you get your room, eat, unwind from traveling, get some sleep, and check out, you will not have much free time. Then you head out for the ship, check in, do the drill, eat, and go to bed again. :goodvibes

Yeah, I know it's quick, but I'm thinking it'll give us a chance to check out AK, because I'm not that interested in it, but will give it one night. After the cruise we've got 3 nights at Beach Club Villas, which I love. I can probably get beach club the night before the cruise, too (currently booked at home resort - BWV) but thought I'd try AK.

So, Kidani or Jambo?

Jambo, more activity, food, bigger resort, mix of DVC and non-DVC.

I would vote for Kidani - it's newer and had a nicer pool w/ slide. Better /more animals at the savannah - IMO.
The walk is a quick 5 - 7 mins.
The Kidani is more quite.
depends what you are looking for...

the 1 bedroom villa has an extra bathroom which for us was great!
