Hi all. We are going to Disney this Saturday, but needed to fly out on Friday to avoid a huge storm hitting Philly. We want to stay at Universal for the night before heading to Disney, and need hotel recommendations, please! Location is key, and price matters, too.

Also, how do we get from Universal to Disney? There are seven of us...two families. Thanks so much!

The Hyatt and the Doubletree are right across the street from the entrance to Universal, you can walk in. If you book through Priceline (they let you book hotels without having to name your own price and guess where you'll end up), Travelocity, Hotels.com, etc., you may get a better rate than using the hotel directly. The Hyall also has free breakfast.

Mears Shuttle is probably the least expensive but they also have taxis, you can price it both ways. They may also have a shuttle from both hotels to WDW but that may just take you to the ticket and transportation center. Still, you may be aboe to work out a deal with them it won't cost anything to ask. Business is slow, which makes them more open to suggestions.

We had to fly in a day early last summer and we got the Hyatt in the airport for the night. It was really nice with an amazing pool! We then got up early the next morning and used the Magical Express. Good luck!
