One Night at Beach Club?

I'm considering moving us from POR to Beach Club for our last night. That day would be a 1/2 day at Epcot, and the following day our flight doesn't leave until 8 p.m., so we'd have plenty of time to do Cape May Breakfast and then spend the day enjoying the pool. With the summer discount, it will cost me about $100 to do this. Worth it?

Yes, however, you will not be able to control the weather on that last day. Have a backup plan if you cannot enjoy the pool.

Good point. We will be there in late August, so it will surely be warm enough. Do they close the pool if it's raining?

And late August there are daily afternoon T storms, around 3 PM you can set your watch to it.
You would have a 5:00? DME pickup? So if pool closes, you could shower up at the health club, then relax in the lobby or solarium, grab a bite to eat at B&C or marketplace. Etc. and hopefully the weather gods will cooperate.
The good thing about BC is everything is under 1 roof when weather is bad.
