Just one a few more days and we can book our 2014 trip!!!

Then it will seem so much more REAL!!

7 nights at the Beach Club, in just about 12 1/2 months :)

I love the planning of my vacation. We are going on a Cruise/WDW stay in September and are already planning a stay at WDW in May and another cruise/WDW stay for September 2014. Planning my vacations helps me to get through the other not so fun things I have to do like work....

We will be there for two weeks this Dec. but we also have a cruise/WDW trip booked for Nov 2014. I even have my excel spreadsheet all done already! Lol
After that we won't be back till 2016 I think, but you are so right! The planning is so much fun and really gets and keeps you excited and looking forward to your next trip! :)

The odds are good that my brother in law and his family, and possibly my sister in law and her husband, will be joining us. SIL is not too far from Anaheim, and BIL and family are from NY and gone every few years since their adult kids were young.

So I think I'll start a mass email keeping them all abreast of where we are in the process, see if I can get some excitement built!

I'm pretty sure that we'll end up in different resorts. My brother in law and family love Carribean Beach. We're a family of 5, so that's out of the question. (Besides, we REALLY love the Beach Club.) Sister in Law has massive airfare to pay, so I'm guessing she'll end up at CB.

Unless, of course, I can snag a great PIN code and book 3 rooms at the Beach Club at a great discount. So I'll start crossing my fingers and toes, and we'll see what the next year brings.

Have fun planning your trip!

Alaska Air has some great pricing on flights but am not sure if they fly in/out of the Anaheim area. In a couple of weeks, DD is flying from Orlando to San Diego on Alaska for $120 and then returns from LAX to Orlando on Southwest for $160! American also has some good deals in the $350 rt range if booked far enough in advance...DH and I fly from LAX to Orlando a couple of times a year using American or Southwest. Hope this helps!

Thanks, I'll pass the info on to her!

I've moved this thread to the Doing the Happy Dance! board. :)

Thanks!

Actually, last year we had booked a Deluxe Alcove room at the Dolphin, using the teacher discount. Then we got a 30% PIN from Disney, and cancelled the Dolphin.

But we learned that we really, REALLY love the DDP. (Last year the kids took YES classes, so we paid for dining out of pocket. It felt as though we were hemoragging money. So we're back to the DDP for the forseeable future.)

Also, the Beach Club CMs were incredibly wonderful when my husband ended up in the ER the night before we were due to fly home, with doctors who were fairly sure he would have to be admitted. He had several thousands of dollars worth of camera equipment in our room, and I had no idea of how to pack it up for the flight, or even if we would be flying in the event that he was admitted. The Beach Club CMs were outstanding-- Disney really does set the bar pretty high in terms of customer service. So it's the Beach Club for us if there's any possible way we can get there.

OK, I just sent out a massive email detailing the options.

I'm sure that in 2 different locations in this country, people will be shaking their heads at my obsessive compulsive planning.
