I LOVE Ohana...we got engaged at the Poly last year after eating there so that may be one reason...the other is the NOODLES!!

I swear I don't even care about the meat at that restaurant, just bring me the noodles and maybe a few wings and potstickers
I am glad to hear your second try at
MNSSHP was less crowded

I love the picture with the ghosts! And yes the Adventureland sign and walking in that direction very much make me miss Disney too!!
Awww, getting engaged at the Poly is so amazing!

I like the meat at 'Ohana, but I could seriously eat all that other stuff and be happy! I don't know what they put on those noodles, but they are so good!
The 2nd MNSSHP was much better than the first, much more laid back! And less crowded, that always helps! AHHH, I can't wait to be back in Disney! 44 days!
Your description of Ohana's makes me want to eat there so bad! that bread pudding...I'd be estatic if someone in my party didn't want to eat any of it!
Hope this MNSSHP is less crowded for your guys!
You have to go to 'Ohana! It's one of the best restaurants at Disney World! The bread pudding is reason enough to go there!
MNSSHP was so much fun, I'm so glad we did a 2nd one!
HOORAY MONORAIL HOORAY. Yes, I know exactly what you mean. There are SO many things about Disney that lead me to say "where else can you do this?" And the answer is usually: NO WHERE! Disney yall, that's the stuff.
BUNNY! I know that there are for sure Disney bunnies at All Star Music! And I know there are Disney opossums at All Star Sports. The Poly Disney bunnies are cooler and fancier though.
Omg, um, YES. Only it wasn't the Adventureland sign that made me want to burst into tears, it was the side shot of the castle AND THEN the Adventureland sign. I swear, it's like I have a chemical imbalance and need to eat, sleep, and breathe Disney at all times in order to live. Dang, I'm dramatic right now. HAHAHA.
Hahah I love the hitchhiking ghosts picture! Too funny! Can't wait to hear what else yall did at the party!
Haha, ohhhh, you're so right about the monorail! It's such a Disney-specific thing! I'm sure there are other monorails in the world, but they're not Disney monorails!
There are Disney opossums?

That's one Disney animal I could do without seeing! I have nothing against them, they're just not cute! Disney bunnies, however, are the cutest! And Disney ducks! Especially baby ducks, which i'm hoping to see in May! Springtime is baby duck time!
You're not being dramatic, I feel the same way about Disney! I can't wait to go back!!! I'm getting SO anxious now that it's getting close! And I still have the whole month of April to get through!
*Sigh* Ah yes. Very true. AHH I MISS DISNEY!!
Oh man, I would never touch the salad at Ohana either. Or the veggies. Please, I need stomach space for the unlimited quantities of meat and of course... THOSE HEAVENLY NOODLES!! Oh my gooooood I totally agree with you, they were my favorite part of the meal. And that's really saying something since I loved everything at Ohana so much, but those noodles!
Love your hitch hiking ghost picture!
I miss Disney too!!

I want to be there right now!!
Haha, oh no, I don't bother with the salad or veggies at 'Ohana! I'm guessing they only do that for parents who want their kids to eat healthy, or people who seriously go to Disney and stick to their diets while they are there, because why else would they waste all that time and table space on salad and veggies? Don't they know people want the noodles and wings and meat and dessert?
I'd give anything for some 'Ohana bread pudding right now. I really have to try the recipe at home and see if anything close to what they serve there, because thinking about a dessert all year is not normal!
OK so now that I'm caught up on the last two updates:
YAY for getting the Captain Jack Vinyl! You have really good luck with those!
The geyser picture at WL is beautiful! I would so blow that up to like an 8 x 10, mat it and frame it, then hang it in my living room! And that Poly Beach picture too...it it weren't for that random stranger in the chair....
I agree with Shannon, the meat at Ohana is 'eh' to me...bring on the noodles, wings, and pot stickers! Oh, and DEFINITELY that bread pudding!
The Halloween Party sounds like it's already shaping up to be better than the first night you went! That stinks the Jack had a long wait already! We waited like 90 minutes to meet the Seven Dwarfs so if Jack was less than that, we would have waited!
Dude, you and I are SO in the same boat! I literally gave myself A YEAR to lose weight. If I had actually stayed on track I could have lost 45lbs before our trip in July. I finally joined WW Online back in February and I've been totally sucking at it! Granted it's JUST about to be one month on it, but I've lost like 1/2 a pound! Of course, my scale was BROKEN and I didn't know so it was telling me I was losing weight when I really WASN'T. We bought a new scale last week and I'm trying REALLY hard to be good! Of course, every time I get on track with exercising, something happens! In November, I starting using my stationary bike...I used it every day for 30 minutes for almost 2 weeks and then I fell and hurt my knee really badly. Then finally last Sunday, I started using the bike again, 30 minutes every day...and then Friday I had an unexpected surgery on my foot...so I haven't been able to do anything! It's so frustrating, it's like the universe is working against me, or something!
Haha, I don't have good luck with Vinyls! There are so many that I left out of this TR because I immediately traded them away!

I was happy I got Jack Sparrow right away, though!
I want a picture of the Poly to frame someday, but only after I stay there!
I do like the meat at 'Ohana, but I LOVE the noodles! And the wings, they're so good! My favorite thing ever though, is that bread pudding! I could live on that!
I'm not sure how long the wait was for Jack, but the line was insane, it went on and on forever, and since he can talk, it seems like he was taking his time with people! He was really realistic looking, though! Part of the reason I would have felt stupid talking to him...I feel like I would have said something really embarrassing!
Trying to lose weight is so annoying.

It's so discouraging to me because I have SO much to lose, that it seems like it's such an uphill battle that when I do lose 3 or 4 pounds, I'm just not happy about it. It's like yeah, I lost 3 pounds, I still have 77 to go. (I'd like to lose 80 pounds all together...which is a LOT of weight!) So I get frustrated and give up. Then I weighed myself for the first time in like, a month, the other day and saw I gained 3 more pounds, and I got so upset.

This is the heaviest I've ever been. I need to lose some weight before Disney, I can't go to Disney on my anniversary trip the heaviest I've ever been, that's so depressing!
I've been going for walks this week on my break at work, and my friend let me borrow a Zumba DVD, which I did and loved, so I'm going to order the DVD's for myself, so I'm hoping once i start doing that a lot, I'll start losing. And I need to rejoin Weight Watchers, but I keep putting it off.
Just wanted to chime in on the WW thing. I was looking into it for my hubby (without his knowledge, just wanted to see what it would be like so that we can both eat healthier and control our portions.
I think the new system takes calories into account, but it makes sure that those calories are "good" calories. Before, it seemed like the type of food didn't matter, just the calories. I could eat an entire box of donuts and hit my points for the day, eat nothing else, and WW said I was "fine" under the old system. From what I can tell, the new system wants you to eat healthier foods, so calories are only a portion of what is taken into consideration when they calculate points. =)
Great pictures of Ohana! I love that place too! What day of the week was this party? I have heard that the Sunday and Tuesday parties are less crowded. Was this party on one of those days? Just trying to plan for our trip.... in 18+ months, LOL!
The old system of WW used to use calories, fat, and fiber to calculate points...this new one doesn't, because they say that all calories are different, so they don't like to use them anymore.

I don't know what sense that makes, but it kind of annoys me. I used to have the old WW down to a science, I could just look at the nutrition facts on food and calculate the points in my head. There's no way to do that on the new plan, you HAVE to use one of their calculators. And on the old plan, it seemed like every point was equal to 50 calories, which went up or down, depending on the fat and fiber in the food. I don't know. I liked the old way better. Maybe I'll just do the old program, at least I know it works for me.
Thanks, 'Ohana is great, isn't it! This party was on a Thursday, and the first one we went to was a Friday, which was sold out!

I'm guessing Fridays are probably always pretty crowded!
The new system is....different. The online app has a TON of food that is preloaded so you don't have to calculate the points manually. BUT, if you have to use the Point Calculator for something that is not already loaded into the system, it only asks you for protein, fiber, carbs, and fat and it uses that info to calculate the points. I'm thinking that it's because fruits and vegetables will sometimes have calories, but they are still healthy for you, so they will still come out to be zero points, but if it's basing the point value on calories, they would not be 0.... If that makes any sense!
I just don't like that the new system doesn't use calories in their points calculations. Yeah, now they use carbs and protein, which is good, but I feel like they need to add calories back in. I don't get how all fruits and veggies are 0 points. On the old program, lots of them were 0 points, but there were some that were like, 1 point per serving, which is because there are calories in them! I don't know...I need to give the new program a fair try, but I really like the old way better!
