"One More Waffle!" An October 2011 TR! *Update 4/24, pg 70-The End!*

YAY for making it into Fantasmic and randomly getting great seats :goodvibes Disney magic!! I LOVE that show, but cannot handle the crowds so I haven't seen it in years either...maybe one day soon!!

I LOVE DHS at night...ToT is even better at night too!!!! :goodvibes

I can't believe you were the rebel spy, that is AWESOME!!

I love seeing your DHS at night pictures! What luck with Fantasmic! We're really not huge fans and would never wait an hour just to get a seat, but I wouldn't mind it if I had your luck and slipped in a few minutes before it started!

So are turkey legs really that good? That's another Disney food that I've never had. :rolleyes1

You got some great night shots, especially from Fantasmic. I think it's so cool how they have Steamboat Willie in it. He's so cute!

I have done the same thing...take of picture of something I want to buy later and then forget to go back and look at the pictures! But at least that saves me money in the long run!:lmao:

And glad you have more days left on your TR...I am really enjoying reading it!:yay:

Awesome night at DHS!! You guys spent a lot of time there and got a lot done. ToT is definitely one of the best rides anywhere, not just in WDW. Love it!!

Ok so now not only have you made me wanna go back to CMC, I want to try a turkey leg now too  Yum!!

We haven't seen Fantasmic since 2009...it's not something we need to see every trip either but I want to see it again, badly! I can't believe you were able to just walk right in! I'll have to keep that in mind :thumbsup2

Ok so our trip before the one we're going on at the end of the month was 9 nights...now we're doing 4 nights...how did you handle going from the long trip to the short one. We love the long trips and I'm nervous about being there for such a short time!

I'm just catching up on your TR!

I'm glad the driver of your bus managed to miss the dear that ran out in front of your bus :thumbsup2

I can't wait to stay at Beach Club one day...it looks amazing! Sounds like you both enjoyed your food at Cape May Cafe.

Yay on getting Marie when swapping Vinylmations and Star Tours being better second time round.

Great pics of the ToT lobby area. OMG on the Fantasmic crowd - that is horrendous! I'm glad you still got to see the show and had fantastic seats.

I love your enthusiasm for ToT! You almost make me want to ride it! :lmao: Now that I've conquered my RnRC fear, I can safely say that ToT is the only ride at Disney that I refuse to ride. :sad2: I would like to get in line for it sometime just to see the queue, though. It looks so amazing!

How lucky that you stumbled upon those Fantasmic seats like that! I wish it wasn't such a pain to get into that show - which is why we've never seen it. You either have to stand in line for hours or eat dinner at 4:00! If we ever do attempt to see it we will try your strategy and hope for the same outcome! :goodvibes

ToT NEVER gets old :) LOVE IT!!!

Fantasmic is a great show to see, but we don't see it every trip.
It's so cool that you and Brandon got such great seats 10min before the show started! WOOHOO! :)

5 more days? It's ongoing, but fine with me since I'm living vicariously through the TR's I read ;)

I fell behind again, but I'm all caught up now! Cape May looks yummy, can't wait to try it in a couple of months (the oreo bon-bons are on my to-do list).

Great night pics from DHS, we never end up being there at night. I may have to plan for an evening EMH on one of our trips just to experience the park at night, everyone seems to love it!

Just caught up on the last couple of updates.

Glad your bus driver avoided the deer...that wouldn't have been very magical at all.

Funny about Brandon's call to his dad to brag about the food. :rotfl:

I agree, Disney at dusk is beautiful. :cloud9:

That's awesome that you got into Fantasmic and got great seats at the last minute! :thumbsup2

Thanks for the ToT pictures! That is not a ride for me, but I do remember that I loved the queue area a lot, so I always enjoy seeing photos of it.

I know what you mean about snacking at WDW. It seems like I walk away from meals completely stuffed, but a few hours later I am ready for more food. But I look at it as a good thing, because it means I get to eat tons of amazing Disney food.

Fantasmic is a great show, but definitely not worth waiting in huge lines for. Glad you two were able to get amazing seats with the hassle of crowds!:thumbsup2

Awww, you can't do ToT? I guess it's not for everyone! The queue area is awesome, I always get so excited walking up to ToT!

Haha, yep, there is always room for Disney snacks!

I was so happy we just walked into Fantasmic and found good seats! I'm sure that was a one time thing!

Oh, turkey legs! To quote my niece, who is a vegetarian, "If I were going to eat meat, it would be a Disney turkey leg!" :lmao:

And I'm with you on ToT, too. BEST. RIDE. EVER.

Haha, definitely, if I ever for some reason decided to be a vegetarian, I would still allow myself one turkey leg at Disney! :rotfl2:

ToT is definitely the best ride ever!!!

Great update! Your pics came out AWESOME! I really wish we could get to DHS at night on our July trip, but the only time they're having PM EMH is on our arrival day and we aren't doing a park that day.

That's so cool you were able to get into Fantasmic! I'll have to remember that for when Lumar and I go again by ourselves.

I can practically smell your turkey leg and I am SOOO hungry!

Thanks! AHHH I can't live without doing DHS evening EHM!!! That's one of the first things I check for when the park hours are released, because I have to do them! :rotfl:

You should definitely just try to walk into Fantasmic when it's about to start! I'm not sure it would work in the busy times, but in October it should!

Mmm, I'd love a Disney turkey leg right now!

As I was looking at your TOT queue pictures, I thought they were mine! We took the exact same photos. It's my favorite ride too! We missed it on our first trip because it was the one ride RON's DD was adamant about not doing. Next time we go we don't care if she doesn't want to try it, we are doing it. Even better, she can just take care of Peanut while we go on it. :wizard:

Why didn't you buy the Muppet souvenir and just have it sent to your resort? We did that our whole trip and it was amazing never having to carry anything around! The only time you can't do it is on your last full day, or possibly very late the day before that. Otherwise it's pretty easy to use.

When it's late at night, even if RNR is showing a wait time of 40 minutes I suggest going to ask the CM about it. When we did she said it was not even 10 minutes and she was right. We basically just walked on! If not, single-rider line also goes pretty fast, and you often end up on the same train. We even ended up in the same car, just one in front of each other once.

We did the exact same thing you did for Fantasmic and will never do it any other way. We just sat around eating a snack and watching the big line of people going in, only joining them at the very last minute. We even were able to score seats in the very last row close to the exit, so we were able to make our quick escape and get to the buses before the hordes of people.

Haha, that's funny that we took the same ToT pictures!!! ToT is such a great ride! I love the Twilight Zone SO much, so just walking through that queue makes me feel like I'm in that show! You have to go on that ride on your next trip!

Ugh, I don't know why I didn't just buy that Muppet and send it to the resort! I always forget that there is that option! Someone needs to remind me about that before I go on my next trip!!

Really, I never thought of asking if the line is really as long as it says it is, I just assume it is! I love RnRC, but with the way it sometimes gives me a headache, sometimes I'm not really too sad to have to skip it, because I never know how I'm going to feel when I get off of it!

I'll never wait in the Fantasmic line either, I'd rather sit close to an exit than get a good seat! That's what we were hoping for originally, but it didn't really take too long to get out, even though we had pretty good seats! I don't think we'll do Fantasmic on our next trip anyway, maybe if it's a spur of the moment thing, but I'm not going to plan my days around it or anything!

Great ToT queue pics. I have to confess that since I'm a big chicken, I've never seen the queue. Very cool! :thumbsup2

No calories in Disney. You'll get no judgment from me snacking after dinner. :)

So glad you guys share my love of the Beach Club. Although, second confession, I've never eaten at Cape May. Sounds like you guys loved it though!!

How cool you were the rebel spy in Star Tours! :darth:

Sorry you forgot to purchase your Swedish Chef... there's always next time!

Ohh, you should try ToT sometime! It's scary, but you get over it once you realize how much fun you are having! And there are handles to hold on to, so it's not like you can fly out of the seat or anything!

Haha, I agree, calories don't exist in Disney! :cool1:

The Beach Club is the best! Well, after Wilderness Lodge, of course! :) It's so beautiful and peaceful there! Cape May is great! Next time I stay in the Epcot area, I'm going to try the breakfast too, I've heard good things about it!

I always forget to buy things I want at Disney, I try to wait til the last couple of days to buy souvenirs, and then I end up forgetting about half of the things I wanted earlier in the trip!

I was so disappointed when you said you were going to skip Fantasmic! I'm very happy that you ended up doing it. :) I agree with you that it's not something that has to be done every trip, though.

You know, I've never had a turkey leg in Disney (or anywhere else for that matter)? :scared1: I know! My brother got one back in 2004 and seemed to enjoy it. Maybe next time...

I'm happy we did Fantasmic too, it was really cute! I'm sure we will see it again at some point, but definitely not every trip!

I don't eat turkey legs ever, except when I'm in Disney, they are SO good! :thumbsup2 It's kind of embarrassing eating them, though!

Great update, Jen.

I'm with you -- TOT if my favorite ride at Disney and I could do it over and over again. Although the Studios is definitely our least favorite park, we make sure to go at least a half day so I can do TOT.

I'm glad you got to see Fantasmic and got such great seats walking in just 10 minutes before showtime.

Thanks! I love DHS, so I try to spend a decent amount of time there, and a majority of that time, I spend riding ToT! It's just so much fun! :yay:

Fantasmic was fun, I'm glad we saw it again, because I barely remembered it from our 2008 trip!

The Muppet store looks so cute! I've recently begun an obsession with those guys. I still need to see the movie though like everything else. Sorry to hear you didn't buy the Swedish Chef plush, gotta love that guy. "Ahertidertiturkeyahertidertiturkey..." I think that's what he's saying lol What do I know?!

That's awesome you were the Rebel Spy on Star Tours! Hopefully when I go back I'll get the chance to be the one everyone's trying to kill :cloud9: Yeah, pretty messed up right there lol

I LOOOVVEEE ToT! I can only imagine what my old self would say if they saw me writing that. Every ride I'm terrified of I end up liking once I ride it lol But seriously it's one of the best rides Disney has ever created. The whole storyline, the detail, the innovative ride technology itself, I could go on and on about this thing, it really is so great. I would have to agree with you on the fact that if I didn't like it anymore I'd probably not go to Disney for awhile or just shorten my DHS day. :confused3

For a second there I was nervous you weren't going on Fantasmic at all. :thumbsup2 to Turkey Legs, btw, they need some love on these boards ::yes:: Anyways... I'm so glad you did, even though you may not like it as much as some of us, I'm glad to hear you guys did it and you got great seats 10 MINUTES BEFORE THE SHOW! But really there always seems to be room in those places. When I went, we were one of the last people to enter and we got seats up fairly close with tons of room to put our food down to eat. Though... we did go during an off-season :/

BIG BIG BIG BIG :thumbsup2 to my main man, Pluto all perky and glowing up there! ;) Gotta give a shout out to him.

Can't wait to read more! :mickeyjum

Haha, nice Swedish Chef impression, that's definitely what he's saying! :rotfl: I love the Muppets, although, I still haven't seen the movie, I'm not really sure I'm interested. I like the show from the 70's, Brandon has a bunch of episodes on DVD, they are so strange!

I'm pretty sure when I was the Rebel Spy, they were trying to kill me. Or capture me. I know it wasn't good, but I was kind of mortified so I wasn't paying attention!

ToT is the best ride ever! I look forward to New Year's all year because I know they are going to have Twilight Zone episodes on all day, I love that show, which makes the ride even better! :thumbsup2 I was afraid of it at first too, but quickly got over it when I realized it is the BEST RIDE EVER!!!

I'm glad we did Fantasmic finally, I kept putting it off every trip, because I didn't want to deal with the line, but apparently, if you go off season it doesn't matter! :thumbsup2

I don't know what it is about that Pluto, but I always take a picture of it. It's just so random up there, such a cute little detail! I love it! pluto:

DBF is absolutely DETERMINED to have a turkey leg on this trip, he's been eyeing those for quite a few trips by now! They seem like a snack that he'd definitely enjoy! (I'm more of a cupcake person )

That's awesome that you guys were able to get great seats at Fantasmic with 10 minutes before the show! I'm not a big fan of F!, but with that kind of wait, I would definitely go too!

Ahh, please encourage Wingnut to get a turkey leg on this trip, if he likes turkey, he will love the turkey leg! And if he gets one, you should try it, they're SO good! I love cupcakes too, but I have to have a turkey leg in Disney, I just have to! :)

I was never a big F! person either, but I wanted to give it a try again, and I'm glad we did, I liked it, it was definitely cute! However, it's no Illuminations OR Wishes, which I have to see multiple times each trip! :woohoo:

Great Tot queue pictures. You are doing a great job with your low light pictures. I am very impressed. :thumbsup2 I got a few in the queue in December, but I kept feeling like I was walking too slow and people on my heels were impatient.

That happened to us once with Fantasmic. We came off Tot and there was something saying, "Fantasmic starts in 4 minutes. Come on in now". And we got great seats. It was obviously meant to be.

Great evening at HS! Sounds like a blast!

Thanks! Haha, well, I can't really take credit for the low light pics, I used the candlelight setting on my camera inside ToT, so it made everything look creepy and glowing almost! I wish people would calm down when you want to stop and take a picture in a queue, it's not like pausing for 10 seconds is going to make you miss the ride or something! I can't wait to see your pics!

I think that's probably the best way to see F!, totally spontaneously, if I had to stress out and plan my whole day around it, I'd be miserable most of the day, wondering if we were going to get in or not! I can't be bothered! :rotfl:

YAY for making it into Fantasmic and randomly getting great seats :goodvibes Disney magic!! I LOVE that show, but cannot handle the crowds so I haven't seen it in years either...maybe one day soon!!

I LOVE DHS at night...ToT is even better at night too!!!! :goodvibes

I can't believe you were the rebel spy, that is AWESOME!!

You should try to do what we did with F!, just go in right before it's about to start! You should be able to sneak down to the front like we did since there are only 2 of you! :thumbsup2

DHS at night is so pretty, and ToT is definitely a night ride...going on it during the day just seems strange!

I love seeing your DHS at night pictures! What luck with Fantasmic! We're really not huge fans and would never wait an hour just to get a seat, but I wouldn't mind it if I had your luck and slipped in a few minutes before it started!

Thanks! I wouldn't say we're huge Fantasmic fans either, that's why it took us 3 years to see it again, but it's cute! Maybe we'll do it every 3 years or something! :rotfl:

So are turkey legs really that good? That's another Disney food that I've never had. :rolleyes1

You got some great night shots, especially from Fantasmic. I think it's so cool how they have Steamboat Willie in it. He's so cute!

YES!! The turkey legs are that good! They're not just plain turkey legs, they are smoked, they almost taste a little like ham, not just boring turkey! I know not everyone likes them, though, but I love them!

Thanks! I love that they had Steamboat Willie, that was adorable! I love that he's black and white too, that's such a cute detail! Too bad they don't have a meet and greet with him!

I have done the same thing...take of picture of something I want to buy later and then forget to go back and look at the pictures! But at least that saves me money in the long run!:lmao:

And glad you have more days left on your TR...I am really enjoying reading it!:yay:

Haha, yeah, I suppose it's good since you're not spending a lot of money on souvenirs, but I really wanted that Swedish Chef! I do that all the time in Disney, want to buy something and then forget about it! However, it's not like I'm never going back, I'm sure I can pick it up next time! :cool1:

Thank you! I feel like this TR is taking forever, but there is still so much left to write about, I really need to update more!

I love DHS at night, I have to spend a lot of time there for EMH nights, it's always so much fun!!

Haha, you really should try a turkey leg, they are so good! Just make sure someone will share it with you, they are pretty big!

I would definitely recommend just walking into F! instead of waiting in the line. It's not something that I had to see, but I'm glad we did, it's fun, but it's not going to be an every trip type of thing!

I love the long trips too!! I think I was ok with the 4 night trip because well, for one thing, it was kind of unexpected, a bonus trip, and because I knew I'd be back at some point this year for a long trip! If it was the only trip I knew I had for a while, I'd probably be a mess, but since I have those AP's and I already talked to Brandon about doing another long trip in the Fall while we were there, I was ok with it! So if you get sad on your short trip, just think about your super long Disneymoon you have coming up! :woohoo:

I'm just catching up on your TR!

I'm glad the driver of your bus managed to miss the dear that ran out in front of your bus :thumbsup2

I can't wait to stay at Beach Club one day...it looks amazing! Sounds like you both enjoyed your food at Cape May Cafe.

Yay on getting Marie when swapping Vinylmations and Star Tours being better second time round.

Great pics of the ToT lobby area. OMG on the Fantasmic crowd - that is horrendous! I'm glad you still got to see the show and had fantastic seats.

I hope you get to stay at BC someday, it's so beautiful, and you cannot get a better location if you like Epcot! :cool1: And Cape May is amazing!

I was so happy to get Marie, I love her!

Thanks, I really love the inside of ToT! I love everything about that ride, actually! I could not believe that F! line, but we just watched everyone go in and then figured why not try to get seats? We had no idea we'd get such great seats, though! :thumbsup2

:goodvibes

WHAT??? You have to try ToT. Seriously. If you can handle RnRC, you can handle ToT, I'm telling you, I feel like RnRC is worse because it's in the dark and you don't know what's coming! ToT you know you're going to drop! And you are wearing lap belts AND there are handles on the side of the seat to hold on to, so nothing bad can happen to you on there! You will be scared up until the drop, but once you realize how much fun it is, you will be SO happy you tried it!!! :dance3:

I know that's why we never bothered with F! before...well, we did in 2008, but we walked in after it already started and we stood in the back and I barely remember it. I just remembered not being all that impressed. It's cute, and if you can get in like we did, you should give it a try, but it's nothing compared to Wishes or Illuminations! :confused3

I'd be happy to go to DHS and just ride ToT over and over! I mean, I like the other attractions there, but if I only had time for ToT, that would be ok with me! :woohoo:

F! was really cute, I'm so glad we got such good seats!

I can't believe I still have 5 more days left of this TR! I should really update more!

Cape May is awesome, you are going to LOVE the oreo bon bons! I can't believe something so simple can be SO good!

Thanks! DHS EMH nights are so much fun, I have to do them every trip, if I missed it, I'd feel like our trip wasn't complete! It really does seem much different at night! :lovestruc

:thumbsup2

Haha, definitely not magical, I'm glad the Disney deer survived! :rotfl:

Oh yeah, every time Brandon calls his parents when we are in Disney he tells them about what we've been eating! I wish they would come with us on one trip, but they always go to some island for like, weeks at a time. Boring! :rotfl:

Getting such great seats at F! was great, totally unexpected, we just wanted seats near the exits so we could escape quickly, but I'm glad we got to sit so close!

Wow, those pictures are awkward!

Monday, 10/3

Hi everyone! Welcome to day 5! I can't believe there is still so much trip left! :rotfl: Although, I'm glad, because it gives me something to do, since I can't start planning my next trip yet. I've been bugging Brandon to reconsider May, but he's just not giving in. So I guess we'll just be going once this year. Which is fine, but I'd like to at least have something booked!

Anyway, we began our day really early, my alarm went off at 6:45! This was one of the days I struggled getting up, most of the time I can just bounce right out of bed and get moving in Disney, but I was so tired! I finally got up and got ready and eventually Brandon did the same. We were finally ready to drive over to Animal Kingdom Lodge! We were both looking forward to going back here to eat breakfast at Boma! We loved it the year before, not only is the breakfast amazing, but I love to look around the Lodge too!

We got there about 15 minutes early for our 8:05 ADR, and they sat us right away, which was nice! And we had the same server from last year, I wish I could remember her name, she's really sweet! I do remember that she's from South Africa, but I can't remember her name!

We wasted no time going up to the buffet and filling our plates! Brandon went straight to the omelet station, but I skipped it, since I wanted some of those goat cheese scrambled eggs, yum! And that juice...OMG I could live on that juice!

P1000563.jpg

It didn't take us long to eat, and unlike Brandon going up to the buffet 3 more times at Cape May, he settled for just one plate this time! I didn't really want to feel stuffed when we were about to go to Animal Kingdom and ride EE a few times!

Boma was amazing, just as it was the year before, and we will definitely be going back, I think that is going to be what we do before Animal Kingdom days! It's just a nice way to start the day, eat at Boma, walk around the Lodge a little, and head over to AK!

We did wander around the Lodge for a few minutes, we went outside and looked at the pool that I fell in love with last year

P1000564.jpg

and we went to see if there were any animals around, but there weren't many! We stopped in the store on the way out, because I had been seeing these adorable animal print Minnie ears that girls were wearing around the parks, and wanted to see if they had any, and they did! They had zebra print, giraffe print, and the pink leopard print! I didn't need another pair of Minnie ears, but...you guys know I can't resist Minnie ears, so I bought the pink ones!

We drove over to Animal Kingdom, parked, hopped on the tram and waited for a long time to get moving...so long that we thought about getting off and walking, but eventually we got going and arrived at the entrance! There were adorable Lion King topiaries at the entrance, and Rafiki was out meeting people! I'm guessing because that's when the Lion King DVD was just released! I wanted a picture of the topiaries, but people were in the way, so I couldn't get the whole scene!

P1000571.jpg

Oh well, I didn't want to wait around, so we just went in, walked straight through the Oasis and up to the Tree of Life!

P1000573.jpg

We thought about getting a photopass pic, but I remembered how awful they were from the last trip, so we didn't bother!

I was determined to see Festival of the Lion King on this trip, so I checked the times guide to see when the first show was, and there was one starting in a few minutes, so we went over to Camp Minnie Mickey! The line was pretty long, and Brandon asked why we were waiting, I think he thought we were going on a ride or something! I had to explain it was kind of like a Broadway musical, and let me tell you, he wasn't too excited about that, he's not a big fan of musicals!! :rotfl: I had a feeling he would like this one, though!

We were kind of in the back of the line, but again, we got great seats, 3rd row! It didn't seem like anywhere would be a bad place to sit, but it was nice being so close!

For some reason I took a picture of our shadows while we were waiting, I'm guessing because you could see my Minnie ears!

P1000575.jpg

The show started and we went through the whole seating section thing and told to make our noises...we were in the warthog section, and they had some older guy come up and make a warthog noise, which was kind of funny! Finally the show began...

P1000576.jpg

P1000577.jpg

P1000581.jpg

P1000583.jpg

I had been waiting so long to see this show, and read so many good things about it, and it did not disappoint, it was amazing!!! Probably the best show I've seen at Disney yet, it is perfect! Brandon loved it, we both got pretty teary watching it, it was just SO good! :thumbsup2

Once we were finished, we saw our old friends, Thumper and Miss Bunny (our favorites from our Disneymoon!) with no line! So we just went right up to meet them, which resulted in some of the most awkward character pictures ever...

Photo0043FourBySix.jpg

Photo0054FourBySix.jpg

Aren't they so strange? The first was is ok, but that second one...what is going on there? Why are the bunnies so far apart? Why is Brandon like 10 feet away from me? Why are my arms just hanging at my sides? The bunnies were really cute and sweet, but we just couldn't get it together for a picture I guess!

On our way out of Camp Minnie Mickey, we spotted another favorite of mine, Meeko, with no line! He didn't have a PP photographer, but his handler took a few pictures of us with him! Since awkward character pics is the theme today, I'll show you the most awkward we took with him:

P1000592.jpg

His handler told us to put our hands up like Meeko, which was a cute idea, but of course, since we are the worst people to take pictures of on the planet, the picture is a little weird! I asked Brandon afterwards why he was crouching and he said "because he's a raccoon, he's small." Ok. :confused3

(Oh and please ignore my white socks with black Crocs, I know I'm breaking like 10 fashion rules, but I just did not want to get blisters!)

After we said goodbye to Meeko, we headed over to Africa, woo hoo! It was still pretty early and we wanted to get on the safari before it got too crowded!

The wait was maybe 10 minutes and before we knew it, we were chasing down the poachers! (Is anyone else kind of sick of that little story they have going? :rolleyes1) I won't bore you guys with 10 million safari pics, but I will show you 2 of my favorites:

That was inspired by MEK, who always has awesome pictures like that in her TR's!

The lioness!! Doesn't she look so cute and cuddly? I was hoping to see the male too, but I was happy with her, she's adorable!

Once the safari was over, we were ready to make our way over to Asia, but first, I had to check out the store near the safari exit...there was a mug I wanted that I had been seeing in a few TR's and I thought you could only get it at AK...

Ahhh, there it is! :woohoo: And there were only 3 left! I grabbed one and quickly bought it, and we were on our way! I LOVE that mug, I use it almost every morning! I was so happy that they had it in that store, and at the time, I thought they really only did have 3 left...of course, when we were leaving later in the day, I saw like 30 in another shop!

We were having such a great morning in AK, and it was still pretty early! We had so much more to do!

Up next...more AK fun!

Your awkward character pictures had me cracking up! :lmao: I'm like Brandon - for some reason I feel like I need to hunch over with the shorter characters, but then the pictures always end up looking strange! :confused3

Those topiaries look amazing! I wish they would keep them out all year. I would love to see them!

Um, no. Cute and cuddly would not be words that I would use to describe a lioness.

:laughing:Those are some pretty awkward pictures with the bunnies. Why are they so far apart?

I can't believe Brandon is sticking to his no more Disney trips for awhile. I figured he would have caved by now. I am not even trying to get back for awhile. I think it will be nice to go back in 2013 after having a break. Maybe it will be more appreciated, plus Fantasyland will be done by then.

I still haven't seen the Lion King show either. After John hated the Nemo show I didn't even attempt to get us to another.

Mmmm, Boma breakfast. You haven't tried the dinner have you? Boma and Sanaa are a bit scary for me. Especially Boma since dinner is so expensive, what if everything is gross.

Starting your morning at AKL for breakfast and wandering around the lodge sounds like a great idea. You still should just stay at the resort sometime. ;)

Aww, Thumper and Miss Bunny are so cute. Hopefully some day I'll get lucky and see Miss Bunny.

LOVE your new mug! That is awesome.

I want those Minnie Ears! So adorable!!!

Festival of the Lion King is the BEST show at Disney, no doubt about it!!!

I agree that the lioness looks so cute and cuddly. My little female cat sometimes looks like a lioness, so cute!

I also saw that mug in a few different trip reports and knew that I had to have it. It's just too cute. I can't wait to buy my own.

I have to try Boma for breakfast. We had dinner there and have to agree that juice is absolutely AMAZING!

I love your tree of life pic and enjoyed FOTLK just as much when I saw it as well. I was glad I was in the Lion section as the noise was easy tto make! :rotfl:

Yay on meeting the characters but what was with the awkward pics...oh well at least you'll be able to look at them and laugh!
