ok, please explain for the confused masses:confused3:goodvibes

to get into the fobidden journey lockers its faster to go into Filches.
is there any line , ever for entrance to Filches? like other stores?

you turn left..... & then what?
is it obvious where they are?
after you get your locker ( and can you explain how the locker works? key pad? thumb print? what happens if you are late do you put in $$ to get it open then?) where do you exit ? back through filch's or OUT the locker area?

& does someone have a visual ( map or something) that shows exactly where the lockers are at the entrance?

(I'd love to not lose time searching)

thanks!!:flower3:

Believe me, it won't be that confusing when you get there. There are no lines to get into Filch's because most people are entering the shop only when they are getting off the FJ ride. So where you will be going in, is where most people are exiting the shop.

You will enter the shop and you will see the door on your left that dumps you directly into the locker bay. There will be several computer screens interspersed throughout the lockers. Go to one of them and follow the instructions.

:thumbsup2 What damo said. :thumbsup2

When we went in August, I figured I'd never be able to follow this tip. But, don't worry. It's pretty easy once you are there. The only hard part is that you are entering the store through the exit, so you are going against traffic. If you have a large group, it may be easier to send just a couple people in with everything. That's what we did at all the lockers at both UO and Sea World. DH or I would take one of the boys with us and the other adult would stay outside with the other 2 kids.

Yes, the lockers are done with fingerprint. Make sure you remember which person gave the finger (pun not intended) and which finger. Remember to press lightly, not smash your finger, as the computer will see a giant black blob if you press hard. The time for the lockers is usually pretty generous (a 60 minute wait will make the free locker time usually 90 -120 minutes.) If you do happen to go past the time, someone will unlock it for you, but they may ask what is in the locker to prevent theft. Hope you have a good time!

thanks

but after you do the lockers
do you go back through filches?
or exit throught the locker bay?

I just exited back through Filches. I never tried to go the other way, so I don't know about that. :confused3

Does no-one shout at you for queue-jumping though? I mean, can the CM's or people in the real locker queue see you as you go in to get your locker?

We would be mortified if we were yelled at and escorted to the back of the queue! :lmao:

They will have no idea since people coming through that door will be going to their lockers AFTER the ride. You will be going to a locker BEFORE the ride. No one will be able to tell the difference.

I will admit, I thought the same thing the first time I did it. I figured I'd plead ignorance if I was caught. :laughing:In reality, things are crazy in the front rooms for lockers but the back room had ones available. I think that people just start looking for the first available and don't come to the back which makes it appear that things are too busy, thus creating the long line. If more people would go through Filches, it would probably help the line on the other side.
