The Vibe has landed. Our new vehicle finally arrived in London late last week and I will be picking it up 3:00 Monday afternoon. We've been driving a 2004 Sunfire demo from the dealer for the past week and I'll be glad to be rid of it. It may look nice, but I can't stand any car where I crack the back of my head on the roof every time I get in and can't sit straight because it's too low. The Vibe has neither of these problems.

I'll give a better report on it after we've had it for a couple of days.

Because of all your troubles you were heading down to the World earlier!

Don't forget to post pics of the new addition to the family!

So everytime I see a new Vibe this week, I'll be wondering if it's you ! I think I'll just honk and wave at every one I see ... you'll know it's me 'cause of the Mickey on the driver side rear window of my dark green Windstar!

P.S. what colour is latest addition?

Neptune Blue, with a sunroof. The driver will be wearing a white Tilley hat (unless it's my DW). ;) I know what your van looks like, MaryLiz, so I'll wave if I see you. :wave2: See?

Only an hour and half until I go pick it up. For some strange reason I'm having trouble concentrating at work today... :hyper:

But Mike the important question is " is it big enough to hold goalie equipment". Happy driving.

That was one of the criteria the car had to meet. Actually, that was about #2 on the list (the first was "Can Mike get in the car without losing his hat?"). With the split rear seat, we'd probably be able to carry two hockey players and equipment. But given that the van remains our primary mode of transportation the ability to carry the hockey gear isn't as crucial.

We went on a road trip tonight (London-Komoka-Lobo-London; all the hot spots :teeth: ) and I think I'm going to have fun with this thing. I'll try and get a pic today or tomorrow and post it.
