One More Sleep...
A year and a half ago while on the first day of our summer vacation my son was in an accident and had to have his left thumb amputated. While we were in the emergency room I told him that we would go to Disneyworld. When the Doctor was administering the anasthetic they let me come into the operating room and I told him to close his eyes and think about Winnie the Pooh and the Hundred Acre Wood...
Fast forward to today. My son is happy and healthy and has learned how to cope with only having a partial thumb on his left hand. And tommorow true to my word, my mother, son and I are going to Disneyworld for 7 nights at the WL. I am soooooo excited and through the help of this board I think I am prepared as I care to be...
Our plans are as follows;
Arrive at the WL around 9pm on Saturday Night.
Spend Sunday at MGM. We have dining reservations for Hollywood & Vine and then we hope to see Fantasmic. (this was my favourite show in Disneyland and I can't wait to see it again) If we still have enough energy we might head over to MK after Fantasmic...
Monday we will spend at MK and then we have late dinner reservations at Artist Point
Tuesday no plans. Tuesday night Mickey's Christmas Party
Wednesday we will go to AK and we have dinner reservations for Jiko's in AKL
On Thursday my son and I are having breakfast at the Crystal Palace. He chose this restaurant because Winnie the Pooh will be there. He figures at 10 years old that you can never be too old for Pooh Bear and friends. Afterwards we will travel to Epcot and meet up with my mom.
Friday no plans...I suppose we will go back to a park of our choice. Friday night we have reservations at Citricos.
Those are our plans...Thanks you everyone for all your advice. It is really great that complete strangers are so generous with their time.
Merry Christmas,
Wendy Bollard
