Any idea what kind of coffee maker? Do I need filters? Nothing like waiting until the last minute......makes getting there so much better!!! :moped:

Our villas have always had the flat-bottom "Mr. Coffee" style of filters. Oddly enough, DW and I actually like Disney coffee, so we make a point of buying a can on arrival.

We'll have to try the Disney coffee upon arrival....are their filters in the villas for the coffee maker or should I bring some?

You will need to bring some. Last time we stayed at BWV, the general store carried them, so not sure if all resort stores do. But I usually bring a few from home. The coffee that is supplied is the type that is in the filter and it is only one pot's worth.

Have a great trip!! :sunny:

Regarding the coffee question, if you buy your coffee at Publix in Kissimee, I suggest avoiding their store brand whole bean coffee (I can't remember the name). They must not sell much or I may have had a bad batch of their Breakfast Blend, but it was STALE and their grinder was definitely in need of service! I will not be trying that brand again! :(

We went the old standby of Maxwell House filter packs...no need to measure or find separate filters.

The stores all sell them, but they probably cost triple the price! lol! I bought a package at home, and just bring some in a ziploc bag each time we go. I also bring my coffee in a ziploc as well. I only like "my" coffee. ;) I just love waking up before everyone else, and sipping a cup of coffee out on the balcony..ahhh...cannot wait! :earsgirl:
