One more POR question...

Can I bring my own arm floaties for my children to use in the pool, or am I required to use some available at the resort?

You can certainly bring your own, and I would. One vacation when my son was little we forgot ours from home and the shop at the resort was all sold out!! We had to shop around for them, I think we ended up getting them at a water park.

Along these lines does anyone know if other types of pool toys or floats are allowed in the pools at POR?

Our kids wore their floaty vests. Also there were vests available at the resort - not positive but I thought I heard someone say for free. We saw kids with those "noodles" in the pool and arm floats too.

Yes you can bring arm floaties. We forgot ours so we bought some at POR for our son.

All the resorts offer the life vests for free. At POR they are down by the boat dock and you sign one out for your stay.
