Hiya everyone! My name is ~Jules~ and welcome to my April PTR!
This is my family's yearly visit to the most magical place on Earth - my 16th trip and first time staying at Animal Kingdom Lodge!! Before that, some brief intros! (I'll save the in-depth details for the trip report. ^_^)
On the far left is my sister, Maddie - she's 16, an artist and lover of color-guard and marching band. The next is my Dad, enthusiast of Disney and anything that's green. Next up is my beautiful Mom, businesswoman and the spark to my flaming love for Disney. Last, and most certainly not least, is me! I'm Julia, I'm 15 years old, I'm a photographer and Disney is one of my number one passions.
OKAY now that the brief intro has been briefed, to the specifics!
DETAILS
Dates: April 9th - 14th
Hotel: Animal Kingdom Lodge (WOOOO!!!)
Plans: All parks, no parkhopping
Goal: Have the time of our freaking lives!!
Okay, but for real. My family could use a HUGE Disney break - the new year has brought so much to us and a trip to Florida is exactly what we deserve.
Our tentative plans for the trip are as follows, and are still subject to change in terms of park days and adding some reservations in.
ITINERARY
Saturday, April 9th - Fly out from our airport around 8 PM, after Maddie has a colorguard show, and arrive in Florida around 11 PM. We'll be staying at Pop Century just for the night because we've stayed there before and it saves money.
Sunday, April 10th - Hollywood Studios day! (Also our arrival at ANIMAL KINGDOM FREAKING LODGE in the morning!!!!) Not our usual first park pick but nonetheless we love! We'll be eating lunch at Sci-Fi, one of our favorites, and enjoying our first day in the World.
Monday, April 11th - Animal Kingdom day! Our plans on this day are pretty laid back, Animal Kingdom is Maddie's favorite and we usually spend the day exploring the trails and going to the petting area. We have a brunch reserved at Tusker House, too!
Tuesday, April 12th - Day at Epcot! I know, we're saving MK for the extra magic hours - an unusual choice for us, but definitely worth it. Anywho, Epcot! We don't have any reservations made for today but we're about to make a dinner reservation at Coral Reef, which we haven't been to in forever!
Wednesday April 13th - FINALLY the Magic Kingdom has arrived! We'll be spending basically the entire day here, but there's no rush, because Big Thunder's refurb dates just got pushed and we are some very happy DISer's now. ^_^ We have a lunch reservation for Be Our Guest and plan on enjoying the whole park on our normal route.
Thursday April 14th - The last day. *sigh* The trip is still a month away and it already makes me sad... but we refuse to let the day be bogged down by such! I'm not sure when our flight home is but it's past 3 PM I'm pretty sure - usually our last day consists of packing up and heading to Downtown Disney (and no I'm not gonna call it Disney Springs........), usually having dinner at T-Rex then shopping around.
We plan on throwing in our mandatory Chef Mickey breakfast and I'm pretty sure we're having dinner at Ohana one night - but everything is tentative right now!
And I know what you might be thinking - it's such a short trip, how will we fit it all in?! We won't. And we're cool with that. We just want to head down South and have great food, shopping, company, and, more than anything else? MAGIC.
So that's our pre-trip report for now! I'll update as the dates get closer and if our trip sounds interesting, let me know! You can look forward to a trip report as soon as we're back. Happy DISing!!

Wow, you trip is almost mirrors mine, we will be in those parks the same days lol. It's getting so close I can't wait
