One more internet question - need to bring a cable?

Finally! We leave tomorrow morning! :woohoo: :yay: :wizard:

I'm taking my laptop and have a wireless card, but understand that the internet service in the rooms (SSR Studio) is not wireless. Therefore, do I need to bring my own Cat-5 cable or is there one provided?

Thanks! Geeez I can't wait to get "home" :cool1:

I don't know about SSR, but when we stayed at AKV in August they had a 6' Cat5 cable in the wardrobe for you to use.

It was actually in a special little bag marked for that purpose so it wouldn't be confused for something else.

You had the option of leaving it when you checked out or taking it with you for which they would charge you something like $9.95 for the cable

Super thanks! One less thing to carry along.

Another question - sorta related - there is a good chance that we'll need to leave our bags with Bell Services either when we get there tomorrow or before we come home on the 20th. Has any one ever had a problem with Bell Services and laptops?

Thanks again - as the little kid on the comercial says "I'm too excited to sleep!"

I have never had a problem, but if you are worried you can have the front desk CMs lock it in the big safe. At least you could several years back. I try really hard to not bring any work with me any more.

Yeah, well I'm hoping not to have to actually do any work, but I need to be able to check in with the office a few times - the joys of being self employed

But I'm going to WDW! So what do I care they? Let the :wizard: begin

we have a wireless card and i told my husband that the cable was provided and he seems to know what that means (can you tell i'm technologically challenged???), but my question is: is the internet now free? last year i believe it was $9.95 per 24-hour session, if i'm remember correctly.

It isn't free yet. The Disney Files magazine said there would be news in the Summer issue.
