One more DING question!-FRUSTRATED

A very nice DISer helped me get in the "backdoor". Now I have a question. I did not know to book two seperate reservations. So I have a round trip. Now my return trip is cheaper but there is no availability for my departure. What do I do?? If i release the round trip I am afraid I won't get a departure. Can I call them to help me??
OK in the time it took me to ask here all my DING fares were gone! ahhh this is a full time job! I would have saved $400 in 5 minutes!!!!!!! aaahhh

I had a smiliar situation in the summer. I called Southwest and they walked me through adjusting the rate for the flight with the better fare online.
