One More Day

I cant wait to find out. Were flying in on the 29th and I would love it if all the night time shows were going.

If DL stays open 24/7, Im gonna be really sad! Not only can I not go to DL, but staying open all night, is awesome. I have insonmia, I could stay awake the whole time and more nights after that.

During the Christmas Day Parade they said it was going to be something never done before. If they have stayed open before for 24 hours and also given extra days free, then that wouldn't make sense to do that again. Perhaps they are going to offer a free one day ticket to people without having to buy anything? Have they done that? I'm way more interested in having an extra day added on to my ticket then having the park open 24 hours. That day would be packed! I would rather go when I want to with my extra day :)

I'd love to be able to attend! :lovestruc

My guess is that both parks will be extremely busy on 2/29 . So, is it safe to assume that it's best to go to WDW since there are 3 other parks to go if it gets to crowded at the MK? :confused3

I really don't think it will be busy. It's not a holiday. It's a normal weekday when people have to go to work and school.

That doesn't really make sense, since only MK is open for 24 hours, not the other parks at WDW. Those will just close at the regular time. So then it boils down to which of the two places that will be open 24 hours - Disneyland or Magic Kingdom - would I rather spend a day in and that answer is obvious...Disneyland is the superior choice!!

Just Disneyland Park and the Magic Kingdom in WDW.

Such a huge promo for something that is very short term & not a yearly promo that lots of people will be able to take advantage of. I'm disappointed in the announcement! :sad2:

Yeah, it's a really weird promotion to me. :confused3

But, I'm gonna go ahead and enter the vacation giveaways anyway. To whoever wins it will be the best promotion ever. :rotfl:

I wish we could go. My DS 16th birthday is february 29th. It would be so much fun to celebrate it in the park :goodvibes

Nanette

The get an extra day and night offer sounds great, but too bad it's only available for such a short period. If you have more people in the room it's very good savings.

While Disneyland Park was open around the clock on one previous occasion, to celebrate the opening of Star Tours way back in 1987, this is the first time that Parks at both Resorts have stayed open 24 hours.

So that's when Disneyland was open 24 hours, and why they can say it's never been done!

One More Disney Day? Meh...oh well.

I sure hope anyone who goes has fun but I was hoping for something a little better. Not such a big deal.

Kinda seems like a minor promotion. Not really worth the hype IMHO.

The hype was mostly on fan sites not in the real world.

Also Disney doesn't need to rely on a lot of deals after this promotion ends, since it will be Spring Break and then DCA will open it's new attractions and so will the MK. They can promote the new stuff rather than use special offers.

I agre. With the opening of Carsland in DLR and part of the new FL in WDW, I wouldn't expect huge Promotions. I think this promotion sounds like fun. Now if I could figure out how to go!

I see it's only for packages, not just for tickets, so that leaves us out..well, we have APs and DVC so we'd be out even on just tickets promo, but the kids could have benefited if it applied to tickets only. Oh well..will enter the sweepstakes though!

I was hoping for add a day to park hopper tickets myself, but I am sure the offer will benefit some people.

Not that you need it there is still the room offer that goes to the 29th.

The PH offer.

And the just ok package offer that runs up to the 26th.

In a large sense the new package deal is an extension of the current package and hotel offer.
