woot woot one month to go until our first BLT stay! Even though my girls are 10 and 15 we have never done hoop de doo as the process of getting there always out weighed our desire to try it. Now I am hoping it will be an easy commute there as well as whispering Canyon and Ohana's .. both will be also be new to us as well. Those are the only 3 adr's we made. We plan to do some quick cooking at our 1 br and then quick service meals. We have never gone in August, and i am fearing the heat/crowds.. tho we have seen the crowds at our spring trips before. We live for the rope drop mornings to beat crowds and hope that the new fb system will still work for us.

We did August last year and it honestly was not as bad as we thought it would be. It was hot but we got there for Rope Drop and took afternoon breaks. We managed quite well. The CS at CR is really good and we always enjoy it! Enjoy your trip

I'm doing the 33 day dance!! :cool1: Usually like to go in October/November, but this is a girls only trip for a week, and she only gets summers off, so WDW here we come! We are doing the Garden View Tea Lounge, and the rest is OOP wherever we may be. No passes though :sad2: - not in the budget this time, but I'm going again next year and will get AP again with DH. This is to relax, enjoy SSR, eat when and where we feel like it, and enjoy our pool time with a good book. Have a great trip!

We go the first week in Oct. and all I can say is.....at least we're in double digits! It's so funny that I'm not looking forward to our trip to the beach as much as we are looking forward to Disney and the F & W Festival! :rolleyes1

you take the boat (at the back of marina at the back of CR) to hoop de doo -from the boat dock at FW you can walk to it.

take the same boat for whispering canyon - (it stops at CR/BLT, FW and WL/VWL).

whispering canyon can be fun - or it can just another meal - depends upon your server and how much you encourage them.

love BLT - the quick service on the 4th floor is great - if you have problems (food allergies) they are happy to help you.

Wave the restuarant on the first floor - have not eaten at yet - but it gets excellent reviews.

remember one night go to TOW to see the fireworks!!!

Thanks for the input! Can hardly wait!! May have lots of company at TOW now that any DVC guest can also enjoy it!

Will be there on August 6 -13. 1 BR SV at Kidani from 6-9. Then 1 BR LV at BLT from 9-13. First time Mom staying there. She always wants to stay at Kidani. I love Kidani but love convenience of BLT to MK. Can't wait.:cool1:
