One Mom and Three Kids Tackle the World in a Week - Dec '09 Trip Report - Complete :)

What a great Epcot evening! :cloud9: Sometimes it's fun to go along with no plans (although it goes against everything that I am!) and just do whatever you feel like at that moment!

Teppan Edo looks so good. You are so lucky that your kids are not picky eaters. Mine would never eat anything there! :guilty:

You definitely have to see IllumiNations next time! :thumbsup2

Loved all the pictures ~ Thanks for sharing! :goodvibes

I'm sorry your kiddos wouldn't eat at Teppan Edo. Maybe a date night for your and your hubby in the future? IllumiNations is definitely on the next time list! :thumbsup2

What a great night at Epcot!!! All of your Photopass pictures turned out great! Isn't SSE fun? We love riding it and seeing our favorite go-go boot wearing computer engineer! :lmao: I couldn't help but laugh when I saw Dimitri's Beverly picture! I must admit that I always want to wipe it off my tongue after trying it.

Teppan Edo is one of our favorite places to eat. Yum, yum, yum! Your chef was our chef the very first time we ate there. He was great! I will never forget him tossing shrimp tails on Chelsea's plate. :rotfl:

SSE is fun! I love how interactive it is. Go-go boots lady is my favorite too! Poor Dimitri. Every time he sees that picture now, he reminds me of how awful Beverly truly was. Ick!! I bet Chelsea loved those shrimp tails! He's so fun. He made our shrimp dance!

What a WONDERFUL day and evening at Epcot! You certainly did cover a lot - most everything in FW! :thumbsup2 Teppan Edo always sounds and looks amazing. It is on our "next trip" list (along with 82829 other places ;)).

I laughed out loud at the Segway Love comment - that would SO be Joe and I, we are such geeks!

The Beverly picture is hilarious!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS on the adoption!!!! :yay: That is very, very exciting! I hope the issues with the daycare and such works out soon for you too.

Isn't it funny how the "next trip" list grows and grows. :rotfl: You might be geeks but you are both awesome geeks Brook! :thumbsup2 It was super cute watching them hold hands. It made me miss my husband too actually. Thank you for the congratulations.

Brooklynn tried to wipe the Beverly off of her tongue, too. She was momentarily unhappy with her adults. China's watermelon drink is my favorite, although since I rarely drink anything by water, it seems very, very sweet.

Teppan Edo is fun. Glad you all enjoyed it.

Love the pictures of you guys at the front of Epcot.

Aw, poor Brookie! She got the Beverly too. I bet she was not thrilled. We did get a few nice pictures, thanks MeMom. What you didn't see was the poor PP photographer had to move us several feet over because a cheerleading group kept getting in our shot. :confused3

Great Epcot pix. Teppan Edo is awesome. I'm glad everyone enjoyed it. What was up with the guy in the waiting area? I didn't know that people existed who don't know about ADRs...;)

Thanks Jordan! I don't know what that dude was thinking. He was quite rude.

Hi! :) I have sat down and read your whole trip report today and cannot wait until the next installment! I am so glad that your family had a great trip and I can't wait until your husband and Michael get to go with you next time! I just wanted to say hi! You have 2 beautiful girls and a handsome boy and a handsome nephew! I loved your installment about Epcot. We were there in June 2005, it was my first and only trip, I am planning a trip next year with my DD10! But last time we went, Epcot was my favorite on our trip!

Well hello there!! :welcome: Thank you for joining and reading along. I'm having a fun time re-living such an awesome vacation. Thank you for the compliments on my kids. They're pretty great kids! :thumbsup2 I bet you and your daughter will have such a nice time!

Better late than never! I'm catching up here!

All your PP pictures were great! And I don't know who wouldn't love SSE! That is one of my favorites. All the scenes are so realistic! I'd love a ride on that right now! And TT! And Soarin! I have really come to love Epcot. I never thought it would be a favorite, but it is! Too bad you missed Illuminations. I love that show! But it is nice to have something new to look forward to next time. I'm so sad for you that your TR is ending. I have really enjoyed it! :thumbsup2

Welcome back! :yay: I love Epcot too. I also didn't think I would but there is so much there for families. We loved it! I'm sad it's ending too. Thank you for sticking with me.

The kids and I dreamed up scenarios lying in bed that night. What if we lived inside the castle? When can we move to Florida? When can we come back? What rides would dad and Michael love? Just lots of fun things. I love that I helped transfer the love for Disney onto three little people, who I love so very much myself. It was awesome.

:

How beautifully expressed! :cloud9: I really enjoyed reading about your wonderful night together at Epcot! There's lots of love in your family and that's always so heart-warming to see.

Aw, thanks Kathy! I sure do love these guys a whole lot. :cloud9:

Hello, I found your TR from another's PTR. I thoroughly enjoyed it. You have a very nice way of writing, not bad at all.

Orthidontics are expensive, but you & your girls will not regret it. WDW will always be with us to enjoy, the girls can always return with beautiful smiles.

What a loving family you have! :cheer2:

Hi there!! :wave2: Thanks for joining in! I'm getting close to done but not there yet so hop right in. I am very excited to see what beautiful smiles come out of the ortho. We go tomorrow for x-rays and spacers so we're on our way. Thanks again for reading!!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I'm thinking about you MeMom! I'll pray that Trent has a safe drive today. It's rainy and dark here so we've spent lots of time snuggling and watching dvds. We pre-ordered The Princess and The Frog from the Disney Movie Club so hopefully we'll get it not too long after it's released on Tuesday. We can't wait to see it! :thumbsup2 Tomorrow is an appt at the orthodontist for x-rays and spacers for the girls. I hope to get the first installment up of our last Disney day early in the week too. I'm just sad that the report is ending. :sad2: Enjoy your Sunday friends!

I am trying to decide if I can stash The Princess and the Frog away for Easter. We'll see about that, I guess.

Good luck at the orthodontist. Give the girls motrin before you head there -- those spacers can hurt the first couple of days.

I need to get The Princess and the Frog -- I am dying to see it! I'm also going to be sad to see the report end. :sad2: I hope you guys had a good Sunday!

I ordered mine from the movie club too and got the email yesterday that it has shipped.

I haven't seen The Princess and the Frog yet, so I can't wait until Tuesday! We'll be out of town, but I'm hoping to pick one up that day anyway - I'll watch it on DHs laptop :thumbsup2

Good luck at the orthodontist, hope it's not too uncomfortable for them!

Crud. Easter would have been a great idea! I already told them we were getting it. I will grab some Motrin before we leave. Thanks Jackie!!

Thank you!! We didn't get to see it in the theatre like I wanted to so we'll watch it right when it arrives. Yay! :thumbsup2

Oh, awesome! I hope that means mine is coming soon too. :rolleyes1

Laptops are good for stuff like that! Great invention. LOL!! Thank you Michelle. Hopefully we don't have too much pain with the spacers.

Caught up again! December 10 is the day we arrived, so I'm anxious to see where you go on December 11; maybe we crossed paths?

I pre-ordered P&F, also! I haven't told the kids, because it was going to go in one of their Easter baskets, but I know as soon as it comes I'm going to want to watch it! :rotfl2:

Hope the ortho appointments go well!!
I planned to go to Target tomorrow and buy P&F for DD6's birthday on the 24th. DD9 got UP for her b-day.

We were in Magic Kingdom and Downtown Disney on our last day. That would be great if we somehow crossed paths and didn't know it. :thumbsup2 Have you watched the movie? The kids have but I worked late so didn't get to watch with them.

Hope the ortho appointments go well!!

The appointments went really well! We were in and out in 15 minutes. There was a little pain the next day but not too, too bad. The Princess and the Frog for her birthday is a great gift idea!

I'm here, I'm here! :goodvibes The last week is a blur. I cannot believe I haven't updated yet. I have not abandoned my TR, I promise it will be finished. The next installment will be posted sometime this week. Tomorrow the girls are getting their braces so not then but this week for sure. Michael's adoption will be on Wednesday so it's going to be such a busy week. But it'll be updated. I'm also going through some real life "stuff" that's sort of getting me down. Each night last week I was ready for bed at 7pm, I swear. I need a nice long vacation but that's not happening anytime soon. Sad. :sad2: But I thank you for sticking with me friends.

Hang in there! You're doing great things for your kids! Congrats on the adoption too!!! :thumbsup2
I haven't updated my TR in FOREVER!!! I just posted a big old apology. I really want to do it, but frankly, it's not as fun as it was when I first started! I have to get my TR mojo going again!
