One Man's Dream & Mini Golf

I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me more about the One Man's Dream exhibit at Hollywood Studios. Is it worth seeing? How long does it take to walk through? There's a movie at the end of the exhibit, yes?

Also, I'm wondering if anyone could tell me more about the Fantasia Gardens mini-golf. There are two courses, right? One that is Fantasia themed, and one that is a "real" golf course on a miniature scale? I have the Water Parks & More option on my ticket (we have 8-day park hoppers)... does this give me a free round at both these courses on the same day or just one? I'm having a hard time choosing which one I want to do!

One Man's Dream is an exhibit with items and photos from Walt Disney's life. It's like a little museum focused in things that inspired him and that he used through his years in the business. It ends in a movie about him. It's really worth the visit if you are a Dosney-phile. If not, it's air conditioned!

No mini golf experience-- sorry.

Fantasia Gardens is supposed to be the more challenging course. The other one is Winter Summerland over near Blizzard Beach. I don't know much about the WP&M details, but I do know you're supposed to get 2 free rounds of mini golf when you book a package through Disney. We're planning on using it! Have fun

Fantasia Gardens does have two courses. The Fantasia themed and "real" golf course theme. The Fantasia themed is your typical mini golf with obstacles along the way. The other one is more like a golf course, with sand traps and bumpy fairways. It's much more difficult because all you use is a putter, just like a regular mini golf course.

The other two mini golf courses are by Blizzard Beach, Winterland/Summerland. These are both really cute, but are quite easy. Definitely geared toward smaller children. Most holes are a par 2, some par 3's. We enjoy all the courses. Depends on what level of challenge you are interested in.

Not sure about the free rounds with WP&M. Have fun!

One Man's Dream is worth doing if you are a Disney/Walt fan.. definetly.

Yes. I think that you get as many visits to a single place (whether it be DisneyQuest, golf courses, water parks, etc.) as you have days for tickets. But can you do something twice in one day? Could we visit mini-golf and DisneyQuest on the same day? Or, as I originally asked, two rounds of mini-golf on the same day? Am I making any sense at all?

It isn't that big, but it is really cool! It has Walt's desk, some original models, an example of the multi-plane camera system, and other cool stuff. I usually walk to the end of the hall and see when the next movie starts, then plan my time accordingly.

It takes as long as you want it to The walk through ( before the film ) is something that you can linger on or walk through taking a quick glance at what catches your eye I have seen people go though and not stop at anything Then there is someone like me who remembers a lot of the things in there ( from the 50's on ) and lingers over the history of it all


BrianL ( above poster ) makes a good point if you want to see the film and I recommend you do

We used our WPF&M coupon in 2012 at 7pm at night..

PPs are all accurate. One Man's Dream is great, you can spend as much or as little time looking as you like. The detail is great, and fun to see all the history.

We LOVE Winter Summerland mini golf. You can get there on the BB bus. Fun course, and the theming is beyond cute.
