Last year was out families first trip to WDW. We had a great time. We had great prices (military). I told my husband that it would be our one and only time to go. I could not believe that people go every year! There are so many other things to do. Ha Ha.

Anyway, I want to go just one more time. Last year my DH and 3 DS went. This year my husband ( who just likes to stay home), and my 16 year old DS have decided to stay home. So I will be taking our younger 2 ds, they are 13 and 11.
We will fly from Dallas to Washington Dc for a week and than on to Orlando for 6 days. We are going to stay on site this time at the Pop Century and will have a rental car. I would like your ideas on what not to miss, if this was your families last time to WDW. What would you do,see or eat. Last time we did not do any shows or fireworks, and only saw part of the MVMCP parade.
Thank you

Number One--congratulations and have a magical trip!!!!!! Also, hope you enjoy Washington, which is just a few miles from where I sit.

My family never goes to Disney World without my sister's family, which includes 2 beautiful nieces about the same ages as yours (plus a new baby "Disney surprise souvenir" niece, but that's a story for another day!)

My last time at Disney was July. Favorites that I think would appeal to your daughters might include:

The new "Wishes" fireworks at MK--amazing
Spectromagic parade at MK--not new, but still amazing
The new Philharmagic 3D show at MK
Of course, Space and Splash Mountains at MK
MK restaurants--I don't know if there is a "don't miss," but they are fun--we like the Plaza, a tucked-away, reasonably priced sit-down service restaurant, with lots of healthy choices

EPCOT new Mission Space--if they (and you) have sturdy stomachs--totally unique
EPCOT Test Track---my 10-yo DS's and 11-yo niece's favorite ride of all
EPCOT IllumiNations--pretty good, different, and your plan might depend on whether the World Showcase (International Pavilions) appeals to your daughters.
Food--We like Teppanyaki (Beni Hana-like restaurant at the Japan Pavilion )and Le Cellier in the Canada Pavilion

MGM Tower of Terror and Rock ' Roller Coaster--bet you already know that
Prime Time is a fun and unique 50's-style restaurant experience
Fantasmic theater/fireworks is a gorgeous "don't miss" show

Animal Kingdom--Gotta see Lion King Show and the Safari Ride

You have a car, which is GREAT. Life on property is so much easier with a car. I would check out the other hotels. Even make reservations at their restaurants or stop at their fast-food eateries. Most gorgeous are (1) the BOARDWALK--stroll around the Boardwalk area, especially at night; and (2) the Grand Floridian--the lobby is exquisite, and has a live orchestra.

Have a wonderful time!!!!
