One FastPass+ Reservation?

How does it work if we only book one FastPass+ reservation in advance? On day of, if we had booked just FOP in AK, and then park hop to EPCOT after riding FOP, can we book FastPasses one by one in EPCOT once we arrive, or can we start booking an EPCOT Fastpass in AK once we ride FOP? Thanks.

As soon as you scan your FOP FP+ you can start looking for a tier 1 and tier 2 FP+ at Epcot.
