One Direction Tickets!!!

Help! It seems I'm always missing ticket sales for the artists my DD's want to see. They are young enough still that they aren't really in the loop about these things either. By the time I figure out there is a concert coming up, the tickets have been sold out for a year!

I know I need to sign up for alerts somewhere but I don't really want to get spammed by Ticketmaster every day either. Sigh.

In the meantime, 1D is one of the bands they would love to see. Does anyone know whether they are likely to add another leg to their tour? I know that happens a lot . . . We are in Seattle but could also do Portland, OR or Vancouver BC.

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Not likely to add to their US tour. Sign up on FACEBOOK for the presale for the ticketmaster or one direction or live nation facebook pages.

Oh I meant a website ticketprocess.com. I've never used them.

Ticketprocess is a resale site. I would probably use them as last resort. If you are on facebook look on the One Direction facebook page. They have an event you can join and on Dec 1st they will have the password for the Dec 3rd presale. Otherwise, Dec 7 regular sale is on. I would go through Ticketmaster or which ever site the venue uses before a resale place. The prices are inflated on tickerprocessand if you order on ticketmaster you will know it is a legit ticket. Someone that has eticket can make a few copies and sell that same ticket more than once. The first person that gets to the venue to scan the ticket gets in. The other tickets will not work since the barcode has been scanned once already. Resale is very scary for huge shows like these.
I will try to remember to come back and post the password for everyone.

I got worried about getting good seats and went ahead and purchased from above. They had so many tickets! It's just crazy how they get ahold of these even before some presales. I spent 260 a ticket. I don't know really what to do at this point but hope for best. I do want to look at tickets when presage starts tho

I want to thank everyone for their posts. Because of everyone talking about the Citibank presale a friend and I are taking our daughters. My father who has a Citibank inquired with them today (and is not tech savy) and was able to go online and get tickets, I'm not sure if they are good seats, but we will be there and that's the important part!

Thank you Thank you Thank you! :cool1::cool1::cool1:

Congrats!!! I paid way over face value for Christmas last year for show in July by September she was over them and no longer likes them

My friend bought her daughter them for Christmas last year and by the time the concert came around the kid didn't like them anymore and didn't even want to go! I think 7 months is way to far in advance to buy tickets to a concert like that-kids change their likes quickly!

We got them too! Got tickets for DD16 last Christmas at over $300 a piece and they were nosebleed (4th row from the very last row!) This year we got the presale so they are right next to the stage! She's going to be so excited! We also got her and DD10 tickets to go see Demi Lovato and Little Mix (with MIL and I). That's all DD16 is getting for Christmas from us other than stockings!

My DD, just turned 15 this month) has been wanting to go see 1D for over a yr now but they were always sold out. I just bought them with the citi presale but they aren't until Sept. IF we get to that point and shes not interested anymore, the good news is, I would probably be able to resell them for more than what I paid for them!!!

Well, to my surprise, I don't have a citi card (we have UPromise card we never use, but apparently that is serviced by Barclay's these days...)

BUT, THANK YOU!! For posting this, since now I know to be online a 9:55 next Saturday to scrabble with all the common folk. :)

It floors me how much the "secondary sites" dare to charge for tickets... so I am buying direct or not at all :) Wish me luck! And thanks again, I would have had NO idea!

Count us as another family that paid through the nose for nosebleed seats in Dallas earlier this year. Fast forward to this week, and we grabbed 4th row for less than we paid for the nosebleeds. This is DD's main birthday present, and she is over the moon!

If anyone hears of the presale code for tomorrow please post! I gave my DD tix last Christmas for June 2013 tour and we loved the concert! I want to surprise her with the Detroit show this year and am clueless on Ford Field. So if anyone is from Detroit let me know! I need help on ticket selection or how a concert is set up there...Thanks!

Could not get tickets for Charlotte, but I got tickets for Washington DC on August 11. Now I need to start a new thread to find out where to stay . . .

Yay!!! THANK YOU!!! Got not-awful tickets for a price that is apparently about as non-crappy as it's going to get! (First tier, just off-center, 11 rows back, $100 each before "convenience" fees.)

THANK YOU!!!! My daughters and niece will be ecstatic!!!

My niece will be taking my DD and some friends. Thanks to whoever mentioned the Citibank pre-sale, I was able to get decent seats on Saturday. (I'm sure they'll have large video screens up anyway.) My cousin sent me a Season Ticket Holder link yest for Gillette Stadium and I was unable to find more than one seat available. :confused3 I hope the seats haven't run out, and can't help but wonder if they'll be adding a second show?

If you're looking for more seats for the same show, then try the facebook presale today, code "MIDNIGHT"; the ticketmaster presale on the 5th, code "FINALE"; and the general sale that starts at 10 on the 7th.

Best of luck!

There is another presale for Live Nation/Ticketmaster/Radio on Dec 5th. I found a radio presale word STORY and that's for sure in Chicago. Live Nation listed a presale word of FINALE on Twitter, but it was strange because they listed that same word for Jason Aldean...? Anyways, there seems to be a lot of presales before the actual sale on Saturday. There are sets of seats for each presale. It seems a bit crazy to have so many different presales.
Best of luck to anyone else that is still waiting on tickets.

I live in FL but am from MA and was trying to get tickets for both shows because we visit MA every summer anyway. I was able to get FL tickets but not Gilette. My friend posted 5 tix for sale on FB and I missed them ny 5 minutes while I was hanging Christmas lights. :( He told me the season ticket holder code and it didn't work for me at all. I wonder if they had to go through a season ticket website or something?

Chicago Soldier Field only had crappy nosebleed seats available so I checked St. Louis and got excellent seats for a decent price. My DD12 and DD10 are going to be thrilled!! :cool1:
