DH and I would like to make ADR for one dinner at Epcot. If you had to pick one restuarant to eat at which would it be? I have been to Disney many times but never had a sit down dinner at Epcot. DH and I would like to celebrate our anniversary there! TIA!

We loved Coral Reef. The food was soooo good and the atmosphere was very unique. I also really enjoyed LeCellier. Everything we ordered was delicious and where else could you dine in a wine cellar?

Another vote for Le Cellier. My DH really enjoyed it, he loves steak. The cheddar cheese soup was very good and the chocolate mousse for dessert was too cute! (and pretty good) :)

I enjoy LeCellier, but I plan on trying Bistro de Paris on the next trip with just DH and I.

For Adults Only, Bistro de Paris in France is far far superior to any other place at Epcot. It's a must do every trip for DH and I, and we usually do it our last evening as it's nice and romantic and a perfect ending to our trip.

:goodvibes The DH and I celebrated out Honeymoon at WDW and we chose to go to Chefs de France. We picked a late reservation (Just before Illuminations) and asked for a table by the windows. The place cleared out right before illuminations and we could see the fireworks and lights from the windows! It was very romantic and we loved the food!

Are you looking for good food or more of an "ambiance" thing?

I will admit, we really liked Le Cellier and have two reservations there for January!

But, we also love Teppanyaki - now called Teppan Edo? It is fun. We like the food and "show" but, you sit with others, so maybe not your idea of an anniversary dinner.

We have also enjoyed Rose and Crown - could be lovely with an Illuminations view. (We did not have that view, but enjoyed the food and beer none the less! With that view - it might be worth it.)

One of our favorite places has been the sushi bar/lounge (Matsunoma?) in Japan... great views and we love sushi. We would watch Illuminations at night or the Japanese drummers during the day. But they have changed it completely and it is now Tokyo Dining - so I have no idea if it will have the same feel or view. Also - not so many like sushi like we do! :) I will find out on January 12! We are planning on having our first full day lunch there!

Good luck making a decision. :)

My favorite so far has been Le Cellier. But we will be trying the Coral Reef for the 1st time this trip. So my favorite might just change.

Another vote for Le Cellier and the Mushroom Filet! YUMMY! But if you luck out and get an outside table, Rose & Crown is great for Illuminations. No guarantee for that outside table though.

I'm going to have to say Le Cellier also. We've gone every year for the last three years, and have had a great meal each time.

Got to agree with this.

All the fans of the other places in Epcot really need to give this place a try too.

I also vote for Bistro de Paris. It's definitely one of the best resturants in Disney World.

We have gone with and without the illuminations view, and really like the restaurant both times. You could see illuminations inside or outside. Illuminations view was very romantic.

Another suggestion, just outside of Epcot is the Yachtsman Steakhouse. Wow!, what a steak!

All these resturants are so different from one another... what do you like
Coral reef is quite dark, but has a huge aquarium that you might enjoy seeing and watching sharks go by as you eat seafood
Le CEllier is very cellar like - but very nice, also dark steak
do you like Mexican? Asian?
Buffets? Biergaten is lower on the budget and has a fun show, good food
I hear the rose & crown get panned a lot, but we had a very good meal there in Sept, one of my favs I had chicken hubby had meat?
so many things to choose from..
can you prioritize

buffet or not or no preferance
seafood steak
charachters or not (my husband always loves a good charachter meal), really
???? moderate or no object
view of illuminations if possible no guarantee

good luck deciding.. I will say this, no matter what you chose, it will be what you make it because just being at disney for your anniversay is magical

HAPPY Anniversary and have a wonderful time!
:goodvibes :goodvibes

Thanks for all the input! DH and I are both adventerous eater so anything goes! I guess I would say no characters since we'll already be having dinner at the castle. I am fine with seeing charaters around the park, don't nexessarily need to eat with them! :)
Also, I would vote for a sit down dinner over a buffet...i think...??? DH just fell in love with Epcot when we were on our honeymoon and it was his first trip. It can provide such a romantic, exciting atmosphere that it seems like a dear giveaway for dinner!

FRANCE!!!!

really for the setting in and out of the resturant, It has been a while since we've eaten there because we have kids now, so I suggest it for food, ambiance and get there before you have kids :lmao:

I love walking around the fountains at night, I think it's beautiful.

next would be italy for it's romantic setting, but I make italian at home & have so many good italian rest where we live that I just don't eat it much when we go to disney... but if that is not the case for you you may want to try the italian resturant, Both locations have photopass photographers, they can capture the magic of your evening, I will post some pixs tomorrow
you can also check the menu section of this board to see what the selection's are each.. as the menus change they may not be the same when you get there, but it gives you an idea of what to expect..
