so for my mom and my brothers birthday (they aren't that far apart) i surprised them and my step dad with a trip to Disneyworld. I'm paying for 6 nights at my fav resort (pop century) and tickets for either october or november, i'm letting them choose between MNSSHP and MVMCP. They are spending 4 days at WDW because they didn't get to experience very much the two days they were there last year. Now I'm a cast member so the disney tickets are no prob and i have a friend who works universal so those tickets won't be expensive. but my fam is only going to have one day at universal because my brother is the reason we are going. He's never been on rollercoasters, but he talks like he wants to go. I was working when he was in town last time so he couldn't go on the thrill rides at disney because my mom wouldn't let him go alone.

So, i need advice. Is it possible to do both parks in one day? Since that is doubtful, which park would be better? and my friend has explained the fastpasses that you buy, and how you can only use them once per ride. would they be worth it? and can i buy just two even if there are four of us, because my mom and step dad won't ride any rides.

I'm asking all this because I have never been to universal except for halloween horror nights, which i didn't like lol. any advice would be greatly appriciated.

If you're going in October or November it's quite possible to do both parks in one day...but it's not recommended. I would say IOA for Dueling Dragons and Hulk as well as Spiderman and Jurassic Park River Adventure. The crowds are usually light around that time and if they are going to skip some of the bigger attractions, it shouldn't be a problem w/o the Express Plus passes.

You don't have to add Express Plus Passes to every ticket you buy...they're separate from the regular tickets.
But in Oct/Nov, I definitely would say you don't need them...although if you do buy them, they should be at rock-bottom prices (they're priced per season, with june/july/aug obv being the most expensive).
Also, IOA def has more thrill rides, so if that's what he wants to do, that's the park to go to!

just one more question. if i buy the Express pass will it work for both parks? So if my brother and i want to go between the parks and do rides, we don't have to buy another at the other park right?

There is a one park EP and a two park EP...make sure you buy the right one.
