Will I make it, there is still so much to do!! I have to cash in the soda cans, go to Coin Star for the jar of change, buy sox, quart bags, get my clothes out of the dryer! yikes! Can I make it by 4:00Am??

Thank goodness for the lists that Bumpershoot advised, I am relying on them today to make it thru.

My diabetic bag is going to be huge!

Do meds go in there own quart bag? Separate from toiletries right? Will we need sun screen? I have never been to Disney in the rain, that freaks me and the rental scooter out. Oh I need rain ponchos,too!

Will I have any money left for DL? The dryer stopped time to dress to get this done. Oh my!

I will try to drop in later. But I will have this page up all day so post any help you may see I need, PLEASE? Hugs guys!

Medicines don't have to go into a bag, but it can be helpful because you do need to declare them. So you'll have your quart bag for each person (if you need them) out, and you'll declare your medicines and syringes and such.

"if the liquid medications are in volumes larger than 3 ozs each, they may not be placed in the [3-1-1 toiletries-containing] quart-size bag and must be declared to the Transportation Security Officer. A declaration can be made verbally, in writing, or by a person's companion, caregiver, interpreter, or family member."

Pick up ponchos at the dollar store, or just budget some money to buy them once you're there if rain threatens. I was able to fold the spendy Mickey poncho back up nicely, and I'm taking it down again for this trip.

Get the quart bags from the dollar store, too!

I don't know about the sunscreen. They do sell it at the parks, so if you leave it behind you can get some.

Our 1st visit to DL was a rainy one. But it was great!!! The crowds were very low and we just wore our disney ponchos. Remeber to bring a baseball cap beause it holds the poncho in place and the rain off your face. When we went, if the Disbey panchos ripped, they would replace them for free.

They have let our lanyards full of pins on the plane. And we have 3 people.


The baseball cap idea is a good one.


If you do buy a poncho at the park, make sure it's the right size. A child's size poncho does an adult no good!

So... the wind... is it a piercing fridgid freeze-your-buns-off type cold wind or is it more like a warm soothing wind?

(My DD just got back from taking our kitty to the boarding house and here locally, was a fridgid freeze-your-buns-off type ice cold wind!)

In So Ca, or up here?

In December in Anaheim, the wind was chilly but not icy. However, because of the temp difference from day to night (big difference) it made the night feel colder than I felt it should.

The winds aren't necessarily icy, but they are pretty chilly.

Well, I have everything packed, Now!!!! And it is before midnight!!

I've checked all the lists.

We use the vacuum Space Bags and I used 2 of the smaller Travel Space bags that are suppose to roll, it was half roll, then sit on it to finish getting the air out! I'll report back on how this packing system works, as we move from San Diego to Anaheim. I packed a collapsible bag just in case we need over flow room.

I'll Think of You! If you are in DL from Jan 25 - 31 look for some Green Mickey Heads it will be the tink2dw family. We are hoping to meet up with other DIS'ers! We may be Sporting other Green DIS Items as well!! Look low, and after us!! See you soon!

I'll have some lime green mickey heads as well, and "celery" green crocs if weather permits (and since I've been a northwesterner since I was 17 I will wear them with socks if needed ).

I'll have Red Crocs with Lime Green Socks and I'm not afraid to wear them Rain or Shine!! [Also carrying white New Balance Walkers with white socks,and will be wearing black pants!! Only colors that fit!] See you soon!
