Planning a trip Dec 14-22. We all have park hoppers left over from a previous trip. I think I will be short just 2 days. One for me and one for my 20 year old son. I don't need to park hop. What is my cheapest option to buy admission for those days? So far I think at the gate a day at MK?$90

Thanks!!!
Nancy

If you are just wanting to do one day at MK during that time period, why not do MVMCP? It is cheaper.

I think MK is more expensive for a one day ticket than the other parks(just by a few dollars). They just made that change recently.

Maybe buy the ticket for a day you're going to another park and use the passes you have leftover for your MK days.

It's not clear what you have for tickets now. Do you have non expiring tickets that you plan to use? How many days originally. If less than 10 on the original purchase, you may be able to add days to the old tickets for a lot less.

If you cannot add to the existing ticket, there really is not good discount for a 1 day ticket. I would suggest Undercover Tourist as you get a couple dollars off, but nothing I would consider a "discounted" ticket.

I would also pick a day to do the christmas party instead of buying a full park day. You can get in starting at 4pm and could spend the morning touring resorts or swimming.

Just to clarify, if the tickets have been used once, you cannot upgrade them. (Unless you are within the first 14 days of use, and I doubt the OP is)

A 1 day ticket will almost always be cheaper at the gate. WDW doesn't sell discounted 1 day tickets to the legit resellers. Some will carry them, but in order to make a profit they will have to sell them for more than the gate price.

I have 10 day park hoppers. Some of us have used 6 days some 7. Just trying to get 2 more single days.

We might do the Christmas party but then I would need to buy for all five of us, leaving 3 unused days on tickets. Not the budget choice but might be a fun choice! Lol

I thought that buying at the gate might be the best bet.

I thought that adding days was not an option, my tickets are too old & we bought 10 days originally.

Now my last question, do my plus days expire when I used last park day? We had 10 days for the waterparks Etc and someone just told me those exp. when the park days are gone. Anyone know?

It is.

You can not add days if the tickets were first used more than 14 days ago.

The plus options will never expire.

No, you can't add days to your old tickets. Your plus options do not expire when the last park day is used. Plenty of folks have old tickets that just have water park entries left, and they use them to enhance their visits year after year.

A 1-day ticket for MK is $5 more than a ticket for the other 3 parks. You can't buy a ticket for the other 3 parks and use it at MK, even if you want to add
$$ to make it an MK ticket. Also, an MK one-day ticket can't be used at the other 3 parks, even tho you paid more. I don't like these new, complicated rules, but that's how they are explained on the Disney website.

Thanks for all the info!!

Well, at least I don't need to make any big decisions now. Once we get down there, I will see if we need the extra day!

We will be there a week, off property and I am going to purchase a 2 day ticket to Universal, so 4 days at Disney might just be too much anyway!

Thanks everyone!
