Ok so I want to be able to AK and then when it closes Epcot.

I have only stayed onsite before and wont be this time so what happens now?
Do I bring my old Magic Band?

You can use your previous MB, if you like.

You can buy your ticket early and link your new ticket to your MyDisneyExperince account and make FP+
reservations as early as 30 days before your day at the parks.

You can use your MB from your earlier trip...

You can just use the new ticket at the gates and at the FP+ lines, if you prefer.
