We are planning to go on May 7th and again on May 10 (Mother's Day). The crowd calendar I read says that Mother's Day is supposed to be very low crowds. Is that accurate?

If it's that slow, could we do both parks in one day? or should we really plan 2?

I would plan for a minimum of two. Hopefully the parks will be open late enough to see both sides after dark and that's tough to do if you try to do both in one day. Plus I think it's hard to see it all without racing around in just one day.

Two days will be so much better if you can.......

There is so much to see in both parks it would be a real shame to try and Rush around in one day and not do them justice.

Have fun.

Very recently they were doing a special of buy 2 days get one free - not sure if it's available any more but if it is you might as well take advantage of that.

You could maybe hit the highlights in one day, but I think you would enjoy yourself more and get to experience more with 2 days!

We only have time for one day at Universal. We wiill probably go ahead and get express passes so we can ride as much as possible without waiting. Crowd calendar states 6 out of 10, but better safe than sorry when we only have one day.

can you wait until you are in the park to buy them?
just saying in case it rains on the day you are there, crowds will thin out.

the ep's are non refundable and park/date related.

I can wait. Will it take a long time in a line somewhere to get the ep's?

you can buy the ep's in the shops/stores in the park or at guest services.

you will see a small sign at the register counters in the stores that make mention you can buy the ep there.

the only thing to your disadvantage is, price of ep's can go up.
the more that are sold for a date/park, can drive prices up, especially if it is a 9 or 10 crowd level day.

if you buy in advance and prices go you, not an issue.
once you buy the ep, it is yours at that price.
