Just curious if one could really get a feel of a resort in one day? We might do a one day room only ressie at cbr the day before our package begins. We wod be arriving around 10ish from Jacksonville and doing the pool thing. Have lunch at the food court, dinner at Shutters. Spending the day at the main pool, etc. playing at the playground, beach, etc.

We would leave upon waking up to check in to POR and get our package started.

Just not sure if it's worth it. I know my judgement is cloudy because as a family of five we never stayed at cbr, though we really want to, and now we can. But realistically, is it worth it?

If youre not doing any parks than I think you'll have plenty of time to explore the resort. :thumbsup2

not heard good reviews for Shutter's.... but day with resort only would be great if you are interested in checking out the "feel" of a resort for the first time.

I just want to make sure you know that you'll need 2 rooms at CBR with a family of five.

If you did realize that, we love CBR. The pool, slide and splash area are great. The food court is really good. We have not eaten at Shutters yet, not sure why really just haven't yet. The grounds are beautiful and we love walking around the lake and taking it all in. Stopping to rest on a hammock on the beach too.

We've a one day at the resort before our cruise. It was fabulous! Plenty of time to enjoy the pool (weather permitting). Beautiful resort!!!!!!!!!

We stayed there one night/one day. It was long enough for us to decide we didn't like the resort.

You'll get a feel for the resort, where everything is, the atmosphere, etc. Since you want to check it out and have the opportunity, go for it! :)
