One day MK touring plan with EMM help please

last minute trip...myself and DD18 this weekend....MK Sunday

We are doing EMM and the plaza fireworks party.

We will knock out the obvious rides during emm. Then I planned to RD a couple things while lines are still short. First FP is 10am for space. Next is BTM at 12:50 and splash at 3:10. I can't move them earlier. We'd fill in the gaps with other rides. Leave after splash. Head back to park around 7 for fireworks and maybe a ride or two.

I am second guessing. Should I RD BTM and splash at official park opening. Then pick up space at 10. Change my splash and BTM FPs to 11 and 12 on other rides, like pirates or buzz, etc? Then I will be done with FP by 12:15 or so and can try to grab 4th, 5th, etc.

What is the better plan?

I like your second guessed plan. Position yourself as far as they'll let you toward BTMRR. You should be able to do that and Splash, then head to breakfast (need to be there before 10 am), then do your SM FP+ toward the end of the FP hour.

I like and have done something roughly similar to your second plan. I think both EMMs we've done we quickly booked it to BTMR and do what we can on that side of the park. Do you plan on eating the breakfast? We've done BTMR, HM, then had a quick bite, then start our FPs. I do like the idea of finishing your FPs earlier for the chance to book others. Start searching the second you scan that third one - I'm always amazed at what we can get.

So how did this end up going?I’m going to try the same thing with our 3 kids in June. We will obviously need a nap during the day. But I felt that emm and dessert viewing are bookends to a fun filled day!!

I’ve posed questions about my plan on other forum looking for input on the day and have basically been told how stupid that is. I’m hoping you’ll make me feel better
