One day for both parks in Sept for Kid Stuff?

We are going to Disney mid-September and are thinking if adding a Universal Day. Would one day be enough to do the Suess Landing, the other kid friendly rides & play areas as well as meeting characters and watching the superstar parade?

Yeah...that should be fine assuming you're only going to do the kids stuff. There's plenty to do in both parks so watch your time as the parks close early in September.
