We are going to Madeira beach in October. I had planned to drive over to MK for one day while we are there, mainly because I have not been in 9 years and it’s killing me. My son gets a few days off from school so he will drive down with us and fly back on the Tuesday of that week. My initial plan was to go to MK on that Sunday because there is no Halloween party that evening. The drive would take about 1 1/2 hours from Madeira beach.
Now I am thinking,, maybe we could drive straight from home to BW in Disney springs on that Friday and go to MK on Saturday. That way we would get morning extra magic hours and 60 day Fastpass.
Here’s why I’m not sure. My son technically has class that Friday. One daggone class. He plans to see if he can miss it once school starts so we can drive farther that day and get to Florida early on Saturday (stopping overnight in south GA). Otherwise we will leave after his class and drive to around Atlanta, and finish up the next day. But we could make it to Orlando easily if we can leave early on that Friday.
So here’s where I need help. If I were to book the hotel, buy our tickets, and book our fast passes in a couple weeks, how much hassle would it be to cancel the hotel and change the tickets to Sunday if we need to? Would I be able to change the tickets so that I could make new Fastpasses for Sunday at 30 days?
