One Bedroom Suite at Royal Pacific?

Has anyone stayed in a one bedroom suite at the Royal Pacific? I got an Entertainment Rate of $279 and I would appreciate anyone's first hand experience.

We stayed in one and were upgraded from a standard room. Would that be an option? Make sure you join Loews First if you havent already! With their new policy you may be entitled to that upgrade paying a lesser rate. Just an idea I replied to you on the Trip report board about this room type.

I am Loews Gold and I have a postcard that offers a free upgrade. Do you think I should call and ask about that. Will they guarantee the upgrade to the Suite?

It would be great to be upgraded free.

Can you please tell me how you went about getting your suite upgrade? Was it at check-in or upon reservation? Did you have to pay and are you a Loew's First "Blue" or "Gold" member?

Hi Turtlegirl,

We were upgraded at Check-in. In all our visits I have always requested at check-in and not before. We were Gold level and the charge was an additional $35.00 a night. I had a standard Fan Club rate of $109 booked.


antmaril, I'm sorry I didnt see your post before this! I would call and ask about the upgarde with your postcard. If they cant secure it over the phone bring it with you and try again at check-in. All 3 properties have always been terrific with us and upgrades. If its available they will be happy to upgarde you. Good Luck!

I had a Royal suite (Bali Suite). It was a one bedroom . This one had a standard king bedded room with a separate parlour, which had a living/dining area with a pullout sofa, large dining table, TV another large bathroom. It also had a galley kitchen with fridge, micro and plenty of cabinets. This one could have also been a two bedroom since there was another door (we didn't have the key too <G>) It was really pretty, much prettier then the Villa suite we had at Portofino (believe it or not) but not as large.
I have also had an executive suite which was basically a standard bedroom with a separate smaller room with a pullout sofa, another bathroom and TV.

Welcome back CPM! The Bali suite sounds great. I love the suites at Portofino and if this one was prettier, I would love to stay there. Do you know how many of this type they have? Did you have a terrific trip? Hope all enjoyed!

There are two like the Bali Suite, I forget what the other one is called. They are on club level. I just thought the decor was prettier then PBH's suite. PBH's was more elegant but cold, I think because it was so large. This one was in the same decor as the rest of the hotel, tropical, Bali style.
My trip up north was good, a bit cold & rainy though!
We did try Loew's Philadelphia for a weekend and it was no comparison to the three beautiful Universal resorts!!

How does this differ from the standard room?
Do you know where they are located and if they all have good views?
